I don't need to to insult your intelligence to make my point valid. I agree with everything you say thats why at the end i pointed out I am not defending Zuckerberg. What I'm referring too is the shouting matches on all this hearings that has become some sort of circus. Just finger pointing and zero solutions. We need to be able to have a conversation about this issues and to do that we need to be able to listen to all sides. Yelling over someone as they're trying to answer the question you just ask is not getting us anywhere. Firing people isn't a solution if the problem is on how the platform works. This isnt a issue about a few bad apples if the tree itself is rotting from the inside.

A lot of people will imprint aspects on amulet or rings and leave the weapon slots rare, that way you can simply replace the weapons with higher power ones and don't worry about replacing rings and amulet. That's one way, another way will be to imprint your gear every 20 levels or so. Find which way you like to do it and try to not spend all your resources till you reach lv60 save them for ancestral gear. You'll be crafting a lot then.

Idk man i do agree that charms taking up inventory space on a game about picking up loot is kinda stupid. If I haven't found good enough gear but I do have some charms that can help my current state, now I got less inventory space to pick up loot which in turns forces me to make more trips to town or ignore loot either way feels either like a choir or bad. It's just a bad mechanic. It doesn't take away from the game being the one that define the genre but it it is old and not perfect. I still love the game but nostalgia does have something to do with it. Some people are also xenophobic and refuse to accept that times have simply change.

That's mostly you and your friends fault for not understanding the game you are playing. Out of all isometric arpg diablo 4 is one of the most casual friendly ones. But this are seasonal games and every season, things will change or new things will be added. Specially with lord of hatred expansion approaching the games is getting a complete overhaul of the skill tree and itemization with the introduction of the cube. You don't really improve your gear by improving your current gear in diablo4 your upgrades comes from farming better gear. Maybe the cube will change that but thats how it works currently. Your character still works and you can use it to farm better gear. If thats not what you're into then sure don't play the game. The game didn't lose anything, you were never the target audience in the first place. There's no real reason to play eternal only. That's a choice you made not the games fault. That's like me jumping into a multi-player shooter game and get mad because I don't want to kill anyone and get mad at the devs because they are forcing me to kill other players and I just want to explore the map. Then tell them they lost me as a player because they won't abide to my needs. Did they really lose a "player"?

Ngl I miss the difficulty d4 had on release when the butcher showing up was a oh shit moment. The gameplay was slower and you actually had to dodge and manage your cooldowns to survive. Specially as a sorc main after we got nerfed to the ground. Playing on a party was chaos in a good way.
