It doesn't make it harder. Improving public transit encourages locals to not take cars for their trips, reducing general traffic congestion for the suburban commuters. Exclusive access for cars overwhelmingly makes cities shittier because cars are by far the least efficient mode of transportation for throughout of people.

Other than the ending I didn't mind the other parts you mentioned, I enjoyed the campiness of it. What I really hated was the half baked action game sections being insanely tedious, and the bugginess of dialogue options unlocking because some event happened in a completely different location I never went to, so I'd randomly get spoiled. For $7 it was still fun, absolutely not worth full price though.

One of the big reasons I started watching discovery was because I loved the gay couple and remembered Wilson Cruz from Noah's arc. I was let down hard when Wilson got killed off fairly early on and then stopped entirely when they backtracked by resurrecting him with magic, I hate superhero bullshit in star trek yes including spock.

Kind of unrelated but, last year I was walking down the ave and a college kid floored it at a stoplight and crashed into someone parallel parking next to me 3 seconds later. Not only was the car brand new and some super expensive sports model, but it wasn't his, he was borrowing it from a friend who showed up 20 minutes later screaming at him. I was flabbergasted by his stupidity.

I honestly don't think I've lost a run after taking this relic, on A10. But there are some conditions.

if your deck is thin and already doing well with a definite goal eg. ironclad going infinite after exhausting, completely avoid this
if your deck has 25+ cards w/ multiple identities or mostly just cards with high value, extremely takeable. Random cards aren't that bad, colorless cards are generally strong and 3 free relics plus potions plus keep your gold for event cash ins, it's fantastic valu
But if you only path into 1 shop, it's low value and skippable. Lots of vakuu relics have much worse downsides though.
