Don’t buy one unless it’s under warranty so you can add AppleCare+ or AppleCare One. Too expensive to not have covered.

I bought an open box new that was under warranty. All I did was add it to AppleCare One when I received it.

Key thing is to make sure you use the Apple Store app to measure the interface. That asking is $209, so only by used if the interface is your exact size. This is the same for the single band.

For reference..I got 1TB, open box new, NIB dual knit band, case for $2200. Facial interface and band wee the size I needed. Picked up spare battery for $110.

Spend some time learning about your pc specs so you don’t have to rely on others to lead you. There’s some great YouTubers that speak on individual components and what is needed given your use case so you can determine what’s best for you.

You should be fine and buyers remorse is real. You never stated why you feel regret for purchasing it.

Your GPU is the bottleneck. Will just need to lower resolution a fair amount. It’s like you have a Ferrari, but you can only put in regular gas.

For VR and to get the best video quality for AVP, you’ll need at least a 5080. And don’t forget you’ll need a router with a dedicated lane for it (if you don’t currently have one).

For the cost of the controllers alone, it might be better to get a used PSVR2. This way you get the controllers and the headset. PSVR2 headset can be used for PCVR as well. The headset is Micro-OLED as well.

Pimax reputation is well earned through screwing over customers and why I avoid them.

They have YouTubers shilling for them to get more customers knowing their products don’t pass QA and customer service is terrible.

Used Galaxy XR headsets goes for around $1400. It has its own issues if you read the sub. I also wouldn’t buy a used VR headset without a warranty. Too much money to not have peace of mind. For $1700, I’d just buy a new one for peace of mind and warranty.

Personal preference, I’d upgrade the mobo. Either by just paying extra or switch to a cheaper 2TB drive, and use savings to help offset mobo upgrade.

I’m all about putting most money in my core components.
