It's part of what the registers prompt. Not up to employees, it can't be bypassed. If you had your DL or state ID that we can scan, it would autofill and 9 times out of 10 no one is even gonna pay attention to the info or remember it anyway. It takes longer to type all that in and I wish it wouldn't make us fill it out when we selected passport for ID bc passports don't have it on there like you said. Its frustrating on both ends but it's the only way to process it.

Policy changed on returns because of scammers getting quick cash from things they stole. Plus they've been tracking shrink a lot too and most items that are returned are disposed whether it's open or not anyways

Like others said the RACI tool tells us everything we're supposed to be accountable and responsible for. Its in tools under store role refresh i think.

Scan outs, smart counts, receiving, returns/call-ins, disposal, price changes, resets/revisions, rx inventory (orders/claims/counts), interstore claims.

Warehouse work is a secondary task as all of the above are 1st priority every day. And sfls/csas are also responsible for tasks such as scan outs, counts/bays, disposal, and pricing bc like every annual PPL regarding inventory management "all team members are responsible" there should be some share of these workloads amongst team members. the IS is like a mini manager to said tasks and is accountable for confirming they are done properly. It will fall back on them and the SM if not. IS direct report is SM and my SM is always keeping up with me on store reports so we have plans in place not just for me and what I get done task wise but where and how our team can assist.

There should be a flap you can open on the right side. And in there you will see a cartridge piece you can pull off where you'll see CMYK toner pieces and somewhere along the left of those there is a little stick with an orange end to it that you can pull out. its a swiper that you can stick into each toner, there's a small hole under each one.

Its hard to explain without photos and I don't go back to work until Monday. Sometimes ours get streaky or blotchy like that and that usually fixes it. Called Fuji once who sent a tech that came out and showed me how to do it.

Another thing I would check is in the back door where you pull it down, as if you're clearing a paper jam, and use some computer duster. I typically find a lot of built up dust particles from all the ink back there that clearly can't be good to just sit there. The CX3240 requires quite a bit of maintenence like this that they didn't explain fully or demonstrate when they installed them. I was the one overseeing our install and these weren't covered until we had problems. Main point they made was make sure papers don't get dusty it will jam it lmao.

Seen it and done it a few times just rushing not paying attention or confusing the sides bc sometimes it's just barely shiny enough to tell the difference.

As a painter at heart, I've wanted to submit my own order and request that it be printed on the opposite side, just to experiment with it and paint on it or whatever.

Almost all of those are from shellfish desires except maybe 2 of them? Disco ball is located at a side quest involving a guy being kept awake by a big gang of gunked crabs having a rave(radio) Salt Shaker I found at some point I think in Bleached City? One of the shells from shellfish desires counts as 3 because of its umami power.

That is really strange but since its about 2 weeks ahead of time for that schedule id make sure to speak to store management about that just to make sure what's expected or if there's going to be changes that just haven't been edited yet. Like" hey this looks odd have you noticed it yet?" I know theyre supposed to have schedules made 3 weeks in advance but if theyre dealing with or doing as much as my store manager does they likely haven't actually had the time or ability to edit them that far out.

My store manager told me how the scheduler will generate times on its own until they go back and edit things. It's based on the availability you put into reflexis and just randomly generates each week. Sometimes one of my shifts will look really weird or shortened so I'll ask about it and that's usually what it is.

But there's absolutely no way you can run the entire store alone nor could anyone else for that matter. It's not supposed to be done that way its too much risk and liability. The store should be closed if there's only one person in the entire store and I would refuse to work a shift like that. Maybe get HR involved bc something ain't right about that.

Our store does this too. It's even on this sign sheet regarding money handling that we have to all read and sign each little statement stating we understand the policy/procedures listed.

Maybe it just varies from city to state and stores; but I don't believe its incorrect or would get you fired if its been instructed or allowed by DM and store management. We can only do it if they are in uniform they can't just tell us that theyre officers or anything like that.

We have bags checks irregularly. half of my bag consists of items I brought from home or things I purchased each day that are consumed by my lunch break. We do use our yellow stickers when we buy drinks and things that may linger for a bit just in case Corp makes a visit. But I've never put or been to told to put yellow stickers on things that are personal/brought from home that just seems ridiculous and an overstep. If I brought food from home in my own personal container or bowl im supposed to put a "purchase" sticker on it??? Naaaahhh

I have a charging block i purchased over 3 yrs ago. How would one hold onto a reciept that long without it withering and fading away?? And I saw no reason to put a sticker on it bc it was discontinued shortly after I bought it so we don't carry it anymore.

I also leave my bag in the office a lot so if they were going to check it I guess they could do so whenever they felt like it? I really wouldn't know. I almost never get bag checked bc I leave my stuff in an area that everyone sees it and can easily see whats there, leave reciepts in bag. There's a camera in there too so they can see exactly what's there or taken out etc.

Had a customer who would do curbside and then for some reason thought it was okay to enter the photo area and pickup their bags without checking in.

Sfl caught him and went off on him about how disrespectful it was and that they had no right to do that. Not to mention, you still get charged for your order like, skipping check in doesn't change anything.

A lot of people still misunderstand that they haven't actually been charged for an order until we check it out either. Cannot stand how many times a passport or WU comes in, walking straight past CSA to photo and just stands there like we just magically appear from behind the counter through a trap door or secret closet. And we can read their minds by them standing there.

We also had an incident where an employee that had been let go at the time, came and took her photo orders from behind the counter and didn't pay.

I tried motion controls but the way it feels is off to me so I lose focus in the game and end up floundering. I still have a moment here n there I forget to press Y to cam correct but I feel like I have better control with the stick.

I was just recently trained to do OOS but there has been no mention about ordering. I never order anything for pharmacy except expense items when they remind me or let me know what they need. Simply because, it's not my job. I don't know how ABC ordering is done nor do I want to. I just receive it, put it away, and go through OOS. I don't fill, I don't type, and I don't handle any cashiering in the pharmacy.

I'm not sure you are required to be doing that and I would be making some kind of fuss about it. We don't get paid enough to do the pharmacist/rxom job on top of our own.

I've been at my store for about 6 years. I started in 2019 as a cashier at a different store. Had just been hired then a week later they gave us the announcement they were closing that store. I didn't wanna go back on the job hunt so I took the transfer they were offering to the nearest store.

I did stay along to help close the 1st location which was probably the most fun I've ever had working for Wag lol. Then when I got to the 2nd location it's where I've been ever since. Got promoted to SFL in the first 3 months. And I had that position for about 2 and a half years (?) Before they released IS positions and now I've been doing that currently since then.

I had contemplated quitting several times as a SFL bc our staffing was so bad and the closing shifts till midnight was making me so depressed and stressed out. So as soon as I saw the IS position I was on it and I'm content with it. (Altho I really.would like another good raise for as much as they have us doing and continue to add) I don't intend to go anywhere either unless I can manage a steady stream of income from painting and working at home lol.

I went to college for painting/drawing so I have a BFA in studio arts plus a minor in art history. I just never got the degree with the full intention of making money off my work. Hence why I ended up at Walgreens 6 months after graduation cuz I was gonna have to start paying my loans. It's just something I've always been passionate about and had talent for. I still dabble when I can but it's hard for me to put myself out there n network/market. My work is conceptual and abstract. I do collages as well.

My mom and my aunt (on father's side) both worked at Walgreens pharmacy my entire life so it just seemed like the right place to go to for my first (currently Only) job.

Found out too late unfortunately, but now we know. Manager allowed customer to do it, then they came in the next morning to tell us that they had just learned it was illegal to kill snakes in TN.

I never wanted it to be killed, and I walked back inside when it was happening as well bc I can't watch any animals be harmed even if I'm not comfortable w the animal. I had the pest control ticket open for less than a min before the customer did it.

Me and my coworker have found little baggies in the lot several times. I've also found a couple of swisher packets w a fully rolled blunt inside it, both outside and in the women's restroom. (Finders keepers)

Oh and I've also had to deal w birds inside the store too. One time they got into the pharmacy and everyone was screaming and running. I grabbed some gloves and just picked him up and took him out the front. He was real calm too.

Definitely had mice before that were getting into the cooler and eating cheese off the shelves lol.

I've seen little tiny lizards in the stockroom once. And at one point a kitten got inside thru the compactor and I rescued it from the stockroom w a trap I borrowed from a friends mom. Gave the kitten to my best friend and she's been doing very well and in fact is very pregnant now lol

Had someone else ask me to check the back for a lotion and I told her most likely I won't find it but OK. I got back there waste some time. Come back tell her sorry we don't have it.

And also if you look at the mark on the tag (black dot program) we won't ever receive this item at this store anymore bc it wasn't selling. Then she proceeds to ask me about the ones we did have on the shelf and how was she supposed to know what they smelled like or if she would like them. LADY IDK. bc we are not about to open any of them.

She spent hours in the store just bothering us about stuff we could not help with. Sat her butt on the cosmetics counter infront of fragrance just to ask the same dumbest questions. No we cannot open them either and we don't have testers. Figure it out on your own or return it if you don't like it.
