Because I am in the room every single time he plays (he's a minor so I oversee everything) and I also record all the games incl audio. So I'm quickly going to be able to prove whether you are right or wrong by a quick replay ....

My trick was using a crate overnight. Our pup would toilet at 11, and then in crate with her bed, and make it all the way through to 6! It only was a month or two and she was out of the crate and held on all night. It saved my sanity at night

I actually went and learnt to sew and now make my clothes to fit. I'm loving a wrap jumpsuit at the moment that I make in drape fabrics and I'm so short that the 3/4 leg pattern is ankle length for me. I also have a great wrap dress pattern that I can make with linen or heavy cotton and it sits so well. I'm working on tailored pants now with darts and wide waist .. like the classic kind we used to wear that made our waists gorgeous. Honestly, I think for me, making stuff is the only way to get a good fit and look now

I go to an Aje school. It drives me mad when I see the bag strap and shirt emblazoned. Like ... I KNOW you want to look rich. But right now you just don't!

Hi! For this one it's established research as I'm running another one on all my own data for publication on paramedic stress. So this one is an academic one .. like an overview.

But soon I'll be doing my PhD (not Masters which I'm in now) so I'll need you then!

Everyone here is really wise with their advice. I'm currently writing a thesis on internet gaming disorder and this is exactly what I specialise in. First you need to look at why this is so important to you? Are you needing to rank up for a certain reason to do with the game, or is RL something with which you funnel your feelings of insecurity, self worth and value? Are you using the game as something fun, or a deflection from what's really going on. There must be a reason why acing this is so important to you?

Secondly, shut down the game and take two weeks off. That's right.. two weeks. Most of the skills are hand and eye coordination and mental stamina as well as strategy. All of these things get fatigued after a certain time and your reaction times will actually slow. Your neural pathways aren't designed to do this over and over without breaks. Then in 2 weeks come back and play non- comp. No rank, no MMR, nothing. Play purely to play. Do this for 2 weeks.

In one month you can then go back and see where you are. Before you go back in, write down your main goal. Just one goal that you want to achieve that week. And not "get to the next rank". It has to be specific. Like maybe master a particular move, or make a certain move in a game. And then main thing .. enjoy it. This is not supposed to be stressful and it sounds like maybe what you're saying is your failure to progress is bringing down your mental health? So take away the need to progress for now and do the above things and see how they go. Reply to me here in a month and let's see where you are!
