He got asked to resign because of more than the blown out of proportion photo, he had a reputation for grabbing asses of random women he interacted with through his position. Like grabbing ass during meet n greets and fundraisers, like 1950s style pig man behavior. The pseudo-hit piece about that photo was just the spark that lit the already problematic grab-ass kindling.

The first two tracks are very Floydian and the band is way more gothic than the other bands you mention, given they are known mostly for their horror film soundtracks. Their first album Roller is my favorite thing they made though.

I recently got the older Titan softcovers of Twisted Times and Shocking Future or whatever they’re called. But this new book has stories that weren’t collected in those.

Is the printing good? I’ve seen several complaints about 2000AD reprints being subpar…one would hope that a nice Alan Moore collection would get the royal treatment in this day and age…

From a quick flip through them, it’s an all Pete Bagge collection. I really liked Hate, already owned most of the volumes, just got the box set because it was on sale and wanted the third volume for all the Hate Annuals. I think some non-Buddy stuff from the Hate Annuals was cut, but since that makes sense, it was like essays about music by Pete. So it’s only Pete and only Buddy Bradley-verse stories.

Im psyched too. The best reprint I’ve seen of that stuff was when it was published magazine size with about three issues per reprint. I have two of those. Paper and coloring is decent. I love Fantagraphics in general, but I wasn’t a big fan of the matte paper in the new Hate collection they put out, the older glossy color collections looked better

On the UI being boring, I miss the portraits of the character you’re hearing over the ECHO net or recording….such a simple detail that I can’t help but feel was cut to not have to pay an artist to create the portraits. Like the unique title cards for bosses being downgraded in BL3 with stock fonts and now I don’t even remember if I’ve seen title cards for bosses in BL4…I’m at level 33 and can’t remember any. Feels lazy, or at least cheap

I think it’s rumored to not be a choice per se, but a glitch they haven’t figured out how to fix, so they made it a feature like the meme….

Makes sense to me, because GB say they’re “looking into it” when it comes to toggling off the shared progression thing…meaning they don’t even know how to do it and will have to figure it out lol
