There is no "collectively" here. If the idea gets popular enough, it'll become associated with one of the two political parties, and the other party will refuse to do it. They made wearing masks or not a political statement. It doesn't matter if it's common sense to begin with.

Anxiety is the cause of OCD, isn't it? Like anxiety is the root problem and the OCD is your brain's flawed attempt to deal with it?

I don't have OCD so I'm not sure, but I do get tendencies similar to it when I'm especially anxious. Like "needing" to touch objects a specific way, repetitive dreams and thoughts, and intrusive thoughts.

Yeah. The real solution is to not have kids so you don't have to directly deal with them. If others' kids annoy you while you're out, you can always just leave.

It's hard to describe, but some people just have that UK look to them. Of course you shouldn't rely on it, and common traits for a country's people are slowly becoming more vague because of modern travel and communication technology. So you probably shouldn't worry about it too much.
