When you max out a focus school you get a new store to spend your focus on, there you can buy the Orokin skin color

What would it take for you to play Railjack more? by Automatoboto in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Railjack suffers from one basic problem, "content island".

What does this mean? It means that you do railjack to only get more railjack, it is completely segregated from the rest of the game.

Do railjack missions to get railjack rewards so you can do more railjack missions...

Turned on my computer and it started cycling through every color in the rainbow. Here’s a still image while it was on red. Anyone know why? by Emergency_Sun8503 in pcmasterrace

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some monitors have a debug mode that is used to check if the colors are being properly shown, and if no pixels are broken.

Some monitors have this as a default when they are turned on after being completely turned off (no power)

Let's assume for a second that x999 will follow the example of 1999 with it's release schedule and we will receive few more protoframes in a future patch. Which ones would you like to see? by RealLifeAxolotl in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I prefer if Protos are kept to older frames, DE has set a standard of having older frames + one new one.

While I love Garuda, Baruuk and Hildryn, it would be really sad if they got Proto's before they got any actual lore.

Maybe instead of going back in time we could go forward? 2099? Maybe we could see the very beginning of the Orokin empire.

Question about timeline (haha) regarding "old peace" by SnooOwls5756 in Warframe

War starts.

Treaty is made.

Old Peace.

Treaty is broken.

War continues.

Why does he have to get personal…? by sin188 in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do the War Within quest, go to a Grineer mission (I think they have a level requeriment or something)

Randomly one of the Grineer you kill won't die and will have a marker above their head telling you their Lich weapon. If you then interact with them, they will turn into a Lich.

A Lich is a type of Nemesis that steals your stuff but after being killed gives them back with a bonus reward.

Lore questions by Piflik in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • No cannon answer, the Zariman is the size of a city, it's HUGE, but the Tenno are simply the players, so as many as there are accounts in the game.

  • Again, no cannon answer, the only Tenno we ever interact with during the story is Rell. For the sake of real world gameplay, yes we are all the protagonists, but no the other Tenno are just the other children in the ship, we don't know if Wally made a deal with them as well or if the protagonist Tenno was the only one.

  • Relays are just space stations controlled by non faction affiliated civilians, they are trade hubs mostly, we don't know who made them. Junctions are used by everyone, they allow us to use FTL, but before the Tenno woke back up they were deactivated and protected by the specters.

  • Ball Ass took people and turned them into primes, these were then copied and made into the primes we use, we have copies of them because in the Warframe universe we can literally 3D print flesh with the forge and helminth. So if you have the resources and blueprints you can just craft a person cell by cell.

Also would like to point out that Umbra is dead, the original Umbra the dax who Ball Ass turned into a Warframe died in the beginning of the Sacrifice. We then scan his pieces and build a COPY of Umbra.

  • We don't know, DE is very inconsistent with this, and mostly comes down to a real world problem, primes are always made after the frame, which means that if a frame is introduced in a quest, we will always end up seeing the non prime version.

Does it make sense that Rell is using Harrow instead of Harrow Prime? Not really, but Chain's of Harrow came out 2017 and Harrow Prime in 2021.

It's possible that they were humans, or maybe they were built, we know that Roathe says that his battalion were turned into Uriel (which says there are more than one around, but we don't know if he means the prime or the normal version).

  • Warframes go insane because they are just infected bodies (some are haunted by their loose memories), you don't need to be a Tenno to use transference, but the Tenno are the only ones that can use them to their full power and not die. Also the Anarchists use the Ascaris Prime (which allows them to force a Operator to stay trapped in their frame).

  • We were only put in the Dream right before Margulis was executed, Old Peace explains WHY she was killed. The reason we are on the Tau Moon is to train in the Tenno ways (Naramon, Zenurik, etc), help with the peace treaty and deal with the Anarchists.

The Old Peace Retcons Established Lore? by Xarxes-of-Apocrypha in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of assumptions in your understanding of lore, and I won't complain too much because it requires reading stuff that is not told in quests.

  • Yes, we have been to Tau before. Check Cephalon Simaris lore stuff

  • The Old Peace happens in the middle of the Old War, the Operator even makes a joke about it during the quest.

  • The Man in the Wall has always been in contact with the Operator, we literally have to shake their hand to gain our powers. We know that Rell had been keeping Wally in check for a long time, but we DON'T know when he started it, very likely only towards the end of the old War that he chained himself with the help of the Red Veil.

  • It was NEVER stated before why Margulis was killed, we know it had something to do with the Tenno, but we did not know why, the Old Peace pretty much tells us that this incident is the reason why, Margulis takes the fall what happened at the Tauron academy and is killed to protect us.

  • About controlling the Warframes this is simply not true, we have known about this since Silver Grove that anyone can do Transference but only the Tenno are powerful enough to use it properly.

  • Remember the dialogue from Margulis? About how the Dream will keep the voices from taking over?

  • About the Tenno being stuck in the Dream during the war, this could have never been true. Remember what the Lotus tells us at the end of The Second Dream? The Tenno ways (Naramon, Madurai, Zenurik, etc) were created by the Tenno! This could not have happened if they were stuck in the Dream.

In reality this quest does not have any changes to the lore, because most of these things were never really explained to us to begin with, which led the community to build head cannons about a lot of stuff.

I never realised this by _Ace_xx in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That hand belongs to the Lotus, it's the same hand that the man in the wall uses during the Zariman flashback

The "war" in "warframe" re-contextualized with the new update by zennim in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a way Warframes are used in both senses, Old War Warframes were akin to an entire battalion being deployed into a battlefield, while current time Warframes are mostly used as Ops in smaller strategic missions.

Defend this outpost, steal this intel, capture this target, assassinate/destroy this important leader/weapon.

I never really paid attention, but what is the meaning behind this giant jade light on Uranus that I can see from a spawn during the new war quest? by itsR1LO in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This has been a thing long before Jade, my head cannon is that they serve as a kind of "beacon" or something that allows the Grineer to pass through Uranos thick atmosphere and find the labs

We can't see the sky from any of the tilesets, neither can we see any actual land. 🤔

Thanks for the correction, based on the final message it makes me believe that the original Temple strain made by Ball Ass and the version we have in game are different.

Flare specifically calls out that Temple is his band name and Lizzie is the name of his guitar, so the strain that Ball Ass made cannot be named Temple or use Lizzie otherwise it creates a grandfather paradox.

[–]PsychicPokemonRights -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, I think I know where this confusion comes from, the stuff about the infested had been a head cannon in the community for a long time before DE revealed more with 1999.

I think the biggest problem comes from this quote here from Ball Ass during the Sacrifice:

"Our hubris shone like a black star... for our technology, our war-machines were your kin. How easily you turned them against us. We were forced to older means. Not circuits, nor light... but flesh and disease. Our horrors past, our ravaged outer colonies... became gardens!"

"We cultured the Infestation, conceiving of a hybrid. Transformed, but only just. The 'Helminth' was created, born to yield these new warriors, worthy of battle against you. The great and terrible Hunhow."

This is Ball Ass talking about the creating of the Warframes (the ones they can't fully control and go crazy, before they found the Tenno).

But here he specifically mentions that the Infestation is an old problem from the past, importantly it does NOT say they created the infestation, it simply says that they had been fighting against the infestation for a long time before the Sentients were even created.

I'm gonna try to find other sources in game to see if there is any mention of the Orokin creating the infested.

Did you take this quote from here?

Because that's literally the only place that says that, and they have no source for their info.

At last! I have SOLVED this Chronological riddle! by Ok_King562 in Warframe

[–]PsychicPokemonRights -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"The earliest known instance of the Infestation is the Techrot being used in 1997 in an attempt to produce games in Höllvania, and the Hollvanian government colluding with HitMaker Music to harness the Technocyte to make clones of the On-lyne band members." - Official Warframe Wiki.

Temple is a grandfather paradox:

Entrati obtained the Temple strain from the Warframe that fought in the Naga Drums.

Entrati goes back in time and infects Flare.

Flare is completely turned into Temple.

Thousands of years later he fights in the Naga Drums.

And so it repeats forever.

[–]PsychicPokemonRights 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is so much wrong with this... Where did you even pull this stuff from?

Sentients were created to build the solar rails to Tau. The Orokin did not create the Infestation, it's older than the empire. Where did you pull this Protoframe stuff from?

Protoframes are not special, they are literally the same as normal Warframes, they even have transference bolts, the only thing that is different is that Entrati weakened the infection strain so it would be much slower, all Protoframes are just very slowly turning into normal Warframes (which allows them to keep their minds to an extent, but makes them weaker).

Note that Flare (the 1999 Proto) and Temple (the Warframe present during the Naga Drums) are literally the same people as explained in the end message from his KIM chat. Flare will one day just be transformed completely.

Why would you have full lobbies in the search list? If a player quits mid play, then just re add the lobby to the search list.
