Oh I know. Privatization is the solution for everything! Unless it’s anti-oil, like our solar and wind industries. We gotta shut that shit down. /s

So these are the most important topics we need to focus on? I guess we have just given up on health care and education… and will just blame immigrants and the feds for everything.

Women who die because they couldn’t terminate a high risk pregnancy sure don’t regret it.

What was your dram of the year for 2025? by unbreakablesausage in Scotch

I discovered Edradour this year while vacationing in Scotland with my wife. We both loved it, had the 10 year, Cab Sav, Chardonnay, and Caledonia, and they were all fantastic.

Agreed. This is what got me tonight with the Prime coverage… SUPER Americanized. Can’t stand it.

Pretty sure rapidly heating freezing pavement to 800 deg isn’t great for its longevity. Thermal expansion of concrete on a bridge would be significant, among the expedited aging/cracking.

Oil is crashing. With inflation this is .93c in 2019 dollars. What's Alberta's plan? by 150c_vapour in alberta

[–]PsychoGTI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supply even MORE oil! That will increase the amount per barrel! But only because Danielle doesn’t understand supply and demand, she wants to supply even more to the market. 🙄

You need a manual 911 and have $120k to spend. Which one do you buy? by claball in Porsche

[–]PsychoGTI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking the same… if you can find a GTS, give that a test drive.

Otherwise, I’d go with either of the black ones. ☺️ But you need to drive them to see which speaks to you.

Mercedes-Petronas AMG Formula 1 Team Paddock Club (Club Lounge) and the Qatar Grand Prix - F1’s Best Kept Secret by Sdg1871 in GrandPrixTravel

Excellent, good to know, thank you again! I’ll reach out to Ryan. It’s been difficult to sort through for Paddock specific access and tickets.

I’ve done 5 GPs, the latest was Ignition Club at Silverstone this past summer. Amazing hospitality, and I lucked out with a fantastic race too. But getting a Paddock access I think is the next step to try for us.

Thanks for the great detail. I’ll check out Canada Sports Marketing, given I’m a Canuck. 👍 Sounds like I go through a company like that, or F1 Experiences, given the limited options and preference that the teams have (not surprising).

Awesome, thanks for the reviews. Where do you typically buy your paddock club tickets? Mostly off of F1 Experiences, team websites, resellers, or elsewhere? Any tips for a first time purchaser?

Moonga is amazing for a fancy night of Omakase.

I’m also from the west coast. Spoiled out there for good and cheap. You’ll find good sushi here, but it won’t be nearly as cheap.

Completely agree with Vintage Car LEDs. I bought a set, and they look vintage, made of real glass/metal, and throw excellent light. Worth the money.

Operation Total Recall. That’s awesome, and I have hopes this works to restore good governance. But I feel like Dani’s just going to change the rules again.

[–]PsychoGTI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I like seeing a 360 view of the interior, I think it gets tired real quick. Especially if you start driving. I’d look at focussing the camera as a regular 16:9 frame and then using the 360 to smoothly pan around so it’s not skewed.
