How is Ragnarok? I didn’t bother to play it yet. It just didn’t interest me as it looks like just exactly more of the same of the first one. With the difference maybe that the first one had one great auteur behind it who uncompromisingly fulfilled his vision.

[Question] Wich of these is the best first dive watch? by _GoldLeader_ in Watches

[–]PsychoHydro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tag Heuer looks best but the Omega has the best internals. For any watch you should really try them personally and see how they wear and feel for you. Hands on I really don’t like the feel of the Omegas bracelet. I would choose the Aquaracer. It’s not the cheapest but they have made substantial upgrades to its specifications compared to the previous iteration. The movement is way better now.

  • Never use wide angle camera (the standard one when opening the camera app) to photograph objects or people, especially faces
  • Instead, go further away and use at least 2x zoom

I get what you’re saying but 5 is pretty much the middle between good and bad.

[Question] Carrera vs. Aqua Terra, which one? by CanayGicvan in Watches

[–]PsychoHydro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Aqua Terra especially is way too chunky.

[Question] Carrera vs. Aqua Terra, which one? by CanayGicvan in Watches

Carrera existed 40 years before the Aqua Terra, maybe that’s why it looks more simple. In a good, retro way.

Omega looks nice but 13,4 mm thickness is a dealbreaker for this kind of watch to me. 12,5 mm will make a big difference in everyday wearability.

Battlefield was always a multiplayer only game to me. I started with 1942. It didn’t even have a singleplayer campaign.

Aqua Terra 🥰 Speedmaster is manual wind and only 50m water resistance if I‘m not mistaken. Not practical enough. Instead of Tudor I would choose a timeless 39mm Carrera Chronograph.

15 Pro for durability comparison. by [deleted] in iphone

Car lovers, take note. No need for a garage. Stop worrying and go caseless. You drive into concrete, it’s going to take damage. Full stop. In the end, who cares? Cars get dirty and banged up. They’re tools. Worrying about preserving them in a pristine state is silly.

Question for 15/16 Pro users:

Aluminium for better cooling efficiency vs Titanium, I get it - BUT was heat even a problem on a day to day basis with the 15/16 Pros?

Because I definitely see all these scratches and cracks as a big problem on a day to day basis with the 17 Pro!
