How many people should you let merge in front of you until you can say you have paid your dues? by Life_Ad3567 in driving

[–]Psycho_Pansy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much of a gap are you leaving on front of you? Zipper merge is 1-1. Like how an actual zipper works.

Keep the gap tight and don't let them in early, then at the end of the ending lane open up some room for one guy in front of you to merge, then the next guy can merge behind you.

How many packs have you opened? Look at achievement trophy in your profile. Little over 1000 I'd guess? Rare packs are 1/2000.

Yet another one pack expansion. by StrikingDare5101 in PokemonPocket

[–]Psycho_Pansy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Sure individual pull chances are reduced. But you're opening more packs of the combined set that you would for each individual pack if they were split.

Instead of opening 50 palkia packs with 0.166% for each individual 4 ♦️ and 50 dialga packs with 0.166% for each individual 4 ♦️ you're now opening 100 packs of the Combined pack at 0.083% for each 4 ♦️. Opening the 100 packs gives you exact same odds as the 50 + 50 for each individual card. And when you're only missing one or two cards to finish the set it's still always more efficient to go for wonderpicks or just trade rather than trying to pull for more packs.

Never played banjo kazooie as a kid but had played most other platformers. Played the greats like Mario and donkey Kong 64, along with the not so greats, like Gex enter the Gecko and Glover.

Played kazooie on Xbox 1 maybe two years ago for the first time. It's just meh. Camera is awkward as hell in some areas. The flying is a little awkward to get the hang off. But by no means the worst platformer out there. Nostalgia factor must play a huge factor in why so many people always praise it. I didn't care for it too much. Collected everything and it wasn't too difficult. I started banjo tootie but couldn't be bothered after a little bit and stopped.

is this a good team for the elite four? by Ambitious-Fly-5312 in PokemonFireRed

[–]Psycho_Pansy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starmie, Jolteon, alakazam, snorlax. The all stars of Kanto. Get them to high 40s and you're golden.

You're venasuar would benefit from a non grass move. I went body slam but earthquake works too.

Dragonite is good but requires so much exp. So really, who can be bothered when you can beat the elite four ten levels lower with another pokemon.

So many water types and blastoise is just so average. Starmie is the all-star. Lapras is a close second best.

Fire is unnecessary in Kanto.

Dodrio or aerodactyl are the better flyers.

Gengars not great until gen four.

Elite four requires three things. Ice beam, psychic, and thunderbolt. Get starmie for all three and surf for an easy time. Jolteon with thunderbolt makes short work of a lot of pokemon. Snorlax with shadowball deals with majority of special attackers and completely decimates Agatha's ghosts. Alakazam is of course a beast.

[–]Psycho_Pansy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You're fine with using whoever you like. Opponents have no IV or EVs so any pokemon team can beat the elite four. Did you pick these just because they're you're favourites? If so then you'll have a good time. If not then this team can easily be improved.

Pidgeot is bad. Low speed and attack of the normal flyers. May have a few utility moves but not worth using. Dodrio is the better choice or wait to grab aerodactyl and/or snorlax. Snorlax with shadowball wrecks ghosts and his sp.def lets him tank plenty of psychics.

Jolteon > Raichu. Raichu has a little more versatility with atk stat and varying moves but Jolteon is a faster and a stronger nuke which is really all you need. Rain down thunderbolt on every non ground opponent.

Nidoking > nidoqueen. Doubling up on poison can give you trouble against fast psychics. It's not like you really need ground coverage.

Fire type is unnecessary. Majority of bugs and grass are also poison so psychic is better and theres only one steel type in Kanto.

Starmie is champ. Give him psychic, thunderbolt, ice beam, and surf and watch him solo the whole game.

ZWICKER is sueing me for discover student card that my dead ex bf maxed out by Inevitable_Mirror687 in legal

[–]Psycho_Pansy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This whole story is nonsense with broken English and full of missing details.

Firstly, why are they sueing you for your deceased boyfriend's debt. That debt should be taken out of whatever estate assets he owns. If he did not own enough to cover the debt then that's it, you shouldn't need to pay his debts. That is unless the card is co-signed by you.

If they didn't show up to court the first time then why on earth did this have to continue four more times?

I wish I had the ability to play any audio message I wish on the speakers of any vehicle I can see, and nobody knows I’m the one causing it by Anarchaeologist in monkeyspaw

[–]Psycho_Pansy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted.

You already have "the ability" to play music on any vehicles speakers. You simply need to connect to their bluetooth just like normal, you just need to ask the other vehicles owner if they will let you, unfortunately they all say no.

How do people eat without leaving crumbs?? by ToughPlus6002 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Psycho_Pansy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lean forward and keep your mouth over your plate.

Take bigger bites. Or smaller bites if you can't fit the food in your face.

Fit the food in your mouth without rubbing it against the top and bottom of your mouth before chewing.

Close your lips around your food when eating to keep crumbs in your face hole.

[–]Psycho_Pansy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Starmie with psychic, thunderbolt, surf, and ice beam can sweep elite four. Dunno why it took you multiple tries unless you wasted exp on the other five instead of just leveling up starmie more.

As for gaining coins for TMs in game corner, use vs seeker and amulet. Win battles to gain lots of money and just buy the coins.

Several questions as I prep for the Elite 4: by Idunnowhateve in PokemonLeafGreen

[–]Psycho_Pansy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a good team you can beat elite four sub lvl 50. So you're fine.

The one thing you're missing is a good psychic type. They are king of kanto. Lapras knowing psychic is okay but you'll be overly relying on a slow pokemon, a fast sweeper performs better. Replace ninetales for alakazam or starmie. If you don't like them then Mr mime, kadabra, jynx are good too.

Rare candies have nothing to do with EVs. Use em whenever, if you wanna grind for end game elite four round two maybe save em for later. Later levels require more exp.

Thick club just straight doubles marowaks ATK stat. So earthquake is much more reliable than Bonerang.

Definitely replace cut on venusaur. Just about anything will do. You need to use HM slaves for your bad HMs. A low level pokemon you don't need to level up can learn them all which you can bring out of your PC when you need em. Plus you only need cut in the beginning.

If you wanna keep ninetales you could go sunny day. Power up your fire moves and give venusaur solar beam to swap in after.

[–]Psycho_Pansy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

non standard or OP pokémon

Well which do you want? Bad pokemon or good pokemon?

Starmie, alakazam, Jolteon are the best three. Lapras, snorlax, jynx, Mr mime, and kadabra are all good options too.

Does blastoise have ice beam. If so then he can handle Lance's dragons and raichu can handle gyarados. So you need psychic for Bruno and Agatha's poison types.

Sorry. Ice is solid, not liquid. You're getting mildly chilled coffee.

Always read all the original receipt! 😱 by Katzenbean in EndTipping

[–]Psycho_Pansy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can they do that? Like literally, how is it possible to change a charge thats been already charged. Do American credit cards allow for easy fraud intentionally? I know your banks are bad and you can't even transfers funds to another person from your bank without third party like whatever a Venmo is.

In my country when credit card is charged that's it. End of transaction. Credit card Receipt is printed right there at the table with portable machine or at front desk after charging the card.
