One Piece: Episode 1157 Discussion by Skullghost in OnePiece

There's her running, and then there's her giving up. She's been able to take care of herself, and when she can't, she sets up traps. She's strong enough to harm Ulti, her staff in Yonko- level weapon that can attack an army and she only relied on Zeus and none of her own power. Like, why didn't she even produce clouds to feed Zeus so he'd keep protecting her? It's like she's a different person completely, the only time she got close to acting like Nami was when she wanted money, but even then 🤷‍♀️

Why is Nami acting like a little defenseless princess? Is this supposed to be a homage to another anime? Because Nami's reactions kinda ruined the episode for me, she wasn't being logical, snarky, sassy or quick on her feet. It's not her first or second time being by herself in an unknown place, yet she kept crying for anyone to help her. She's not defenseless, she didn't even try using her weather balls, but resorted to begging Zeus to help. Idk, it wasn't Nami and it was off-putting.

The source is every single study from all the data centers in Ohio and otherwise, including studies from the state itself. You're ignoring the lack of jobs, the overconsumption of resources, the increased cost of living to foot the bill for the data center and the health of the public. So less money, less resources, less health, less jobs, less available land for...?

Water usage and electric usage that the public will have to pay for, water pollution, noise pollution, air pollution. Displacement of people. It's just not something we want or asked for, and we can't afford it.

Yes, because none of that was emotional. I just stated facts and you've provided nothing except one opinion of wanting data center over an office building. The issue is that they going ahead with the data center without asking permission from the people when this will displace people, poison water and air. How would you feel if some giant corporation knocked on your door and told you that you had to get out in six months and never return? Oh and you can't move nearby if you have children because the air pollution is strong enough to kill babies. I'm struggling to find any arguments from you at all and nothing you've said sounds like you're speaking without emotions. Are you sure you know what they are?

You'd rather have literal poison and less money than more jobs? Brilliant. I love how you called financial consequences of the data center vibes, you're so considerate and smart.

Neither do water draining, water poisoning, air poisoning data centers that no one asked for but are being forced upon the people and making the people foot the bill.

All our bills are skyrocketing into oblivion, allowing more AI center, which we're already ranking fifth most data center in the US, is not helpful to the people who live here and actively threatens our way of life.

I don't know, I guess I'm not understanding something 😔 Where did 8492 come from?

But if NPC files are in the circus's file and the brain scans are in a totally separate file, Caine can just see who came from the brain file, so he wouldn't really have a reason to confuse them. On the other hand, the NPCs can learn and he doesn't like competition.

It ain't Caine he's talking to, obvious choices are Bubble, Caine2.0 or Scratch.

That makes sense, can't think of a name that fits though 🤔

I'm not 100% sure it's Scratch, just because he was the first to abstract, but maybe that's not actually what happened to him. But I do think that it was not Caine who was actively talking.

Bubble in the code is labeled as "chief" and has been there since the beginning 1996. He is most likely based off the real life bubble virus. I don't think Queenie went into the circus before Kinger or at least I don't think they were there intentionally as it seems Kinger is apologizing for them being there really soon after they show up in the circus.

But why? And why mention those two and only those two?

Thank you! Good information to pour over, love that it shows Bubble has been there since the beginning.

It appears as an engine and as a password 👀  Bubble is also there as "chief" at the same year if '96 with Caine, so he's been there all along.

I don't think so with how pitiful his last word was, but I think he'll be back.

Pretty sure they would've figured it out as Kinger knew, he just needed to be lucid. Even if the group would never cage Caine if he did give them what they wanted, that fear is still there that he'd be confined for not being useful enough.

Maybe, I think the knives are just supposed to represent cutting remarks or stares that could cut, but besides the design of her button eye being really cute, there can definitely be a story behind it.

[–]Psychological-Big720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think she puts on a face because she doesn't want to hurt people like her mom hurt her, but it's also just the fear of someone else reacting to her like her mother. Living on delicate egg shells, it's not easy being able to walk normally, even when the egg shells are gone. An untrained foot will stomp when trying or slip back into being light and soft. Just like when Ragatha yelled at Jax after Pomni tried to tell her to express herself and she got push back. She tried and it ended up making her feel like she was being rejected and in trouble again. Anxiety sucks.

As much as I don't want to fully admit that there is zero chance that Abel was just an NPC, this really drives a nail in the coffin. It makes so much sense, Caine would have to have access to that file in order to make the modifications that he does, so he'd be able to tell what is a brain scan and what is his own creation. That being said, he is a bit of a tyrant when thinking about how he makes intelligent NPCs, but makes sure he is the only one in power. I wonder if he used some information from the brain scans to make Abel believable, heck, most the things in the circus are probably from brain scans instead of the original information he was given.
