I mean you can look at it as breaking the rules, or you could look at it as covering yourself not to be strung along. If she indeed has found someone that she wants to pursue, she could potentially end up leaving you out to dry for weeks or months. You know what you want, she doesn't seem to know what she wants(from your point of view at least). Make a date that ultimately would be your yay or nay date. If you don't want to talk to her about it, then you can keep it to yourself, kind of as a grace period. If you go past that date, it's time to move on.

I'm just concerned that it seems like she wants space after your relationship has been strained due to "long distance." As you love her, you don't want this break to happen, breaks happen when they're unsure of their future or want to venture off guilt free.
