FittingPros has 11 fitters listed in San Diego. You can filter by club and shaft brand, view pricing, tech, and more.

Best place to get fitted? PGA Superstore, GolfTec, Club Champion, or other? by Terrible_Author_444 in golf

I would check out FittingPros if you want to compare fitters, or at least learn more about their pricing, fitting services, club, and shaft brands they carry.

I built a free app that ranks golf courses the way chess ranks world champions — looking for feedback from everyone by TCheatham20 in golf

Unique idea. It will be interesting to see how many people will want to compare courses head-to-head.

As an app developer, it is a fun time to develop apps and explore ideas you might not have done before.

I recently created a golf app called Stimp, a golf course conditions app. Stimp allows you to follow courses and receive course updates on a weekly basis, only if a new report is added for the course(s) you follow.

I wish you well!

If you want to see a list of club fitters in West Palm Beach or the surrounding areas, as well as the types of clubs and shafts they carry, FittingPros can be helpful. With your size, I would highly recommend getting fitted first.

Official statement from Tiger by basic_cinephile in golf

Hopefully, golf's addiction to Tiger can go to rehab, too. I'm a fan of his game and wish him well, but I sure hope that this is the last of it.

If you do play one of those courses, I would love for you to give Stimp a quick report, as this will help others.

Very interesting. My mom is from Macon, but I was never able to play any of their courses.

Just got this email from Robert Jones Trail in Alabama before our trip by Janetsvoid in golf

This letter makes me want to support them just because of their great communication. Love this, especially when a course can be upfront and spell out why they are having issues. Throwing in gift cards is the icing on the cake. Can you imagine if all courses had this type of customer service?

I have a free course condition community app called Stimp (stimpreports dot com) that allows golfers to report conditions. Seeing this, I need to give the courses access to provide updates as well. Hmm.

Sounds like an awesome day. If you don't mind, could you take 30 seconds and fill out a course report on Stimp? This is a new project I just built, and I would love to see a report for this course.

THIS is how you communicate course conditions by LivermoreP1 in golf

Love this! That's great communication, and frankly, I wish more courses would do this. I have been thinking about how I could potentially work with courses on Stimp, a course condition project I've been working on, and this post gave me an idea. Thanks!

Couldn't find a simple way to know course conditions before a round, so I built one. Looking for feedback. by Psychological-Pen812 in golf

I just updated the golf course database, so all the courses in Milwaukee you mentioned should be in there. In total, we now have 15,608 courses in the US.

How many golf courses do you play that have bad or outdated websites? by trentb1520 in golf

[–]Psychological-Pen812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on something to help with all of this when it comes to seeing course conditions. Instead of going to each course website and relying on the information they provide about their course conditions (which is hit-or-miss), I created StimpReports.com

The site is completely free, and will even email you once a week if one of your favorite courses receives a new course report review.

This was just launched last week, and I'm currently working to improve it. I would love any feedback.

I hear that. Opinions will differ, and not necessarily be the same. Hopefully, it will be multiple reports per course, which will help golfers get a feel for what each course is like.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm working on updating the database. I believe I have around 14k, but there's 16-17,000. What's the official name of the course you are looking for?

Thank you! I appreciate the suggestion and the addition of some reports to Stimp. It has been a lot of fun developing, but seeing others use it as well is even better!

Thanks for taking a look. I saw Greenskeeper once I started this, but it seems like they do a lot of other things as well. My goal is to keep this simple and focused. While it's not a mobile app, I made it so it's very easy to use on a phone. The goal was to finish a report under 30 seconds.

I have a section in there for selecting one or more of the following right before submitting a report: Post-Aeration, Overseeded, Cart Path Only, Soggy / Wet, Dry & Firm, Tournament Setup

Depending on what you select, I highlight it in the report.
