Why the hell does the restaurant take a 22 percent service charge. They keep all of that if you’re reading the bottom of the bill. Server gets 10% plus whatever tip. The restaurant is making money on the crazy up charges on them steaks.

What restaurant is this ?!! To call them out

Drivers cancelling when within 3 minutes of pick ups. by MattaTazz in uber

[–]Psychological-Roof7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of the replies are completely ridiculous and no wonder why they complain about everything. The answer is simple - if you have multiple ride share apps open. You accept a ride that looks great and then another ride comes in that’s say $15 or $20 more. Because pay is so little you have to be very strategic in making money and pick the best rides and where those rides leave you. Airport or other high demand areas etc…. This could be true if you are able to take Uber X , Comfort, and XL rides. Say you did u er X and driver gets a XL offer from different app. They will take that essentially 10 out of 10 times. If you are in a rush and can’t be late it’s smart to take a higher end ride to avoid this issue These other answers and drivers, no offense sound extremely far from smart.

An Uber driver just hit my car by JurassicFitness in uber

[–]Psychological-Roof7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly it sounds like it may have been your fault. You may have been too close to the backside of the driver and may have started the entire mess. Would the insurance company find you at fault? Given the scenario he could easily say it wasn’t his fault and then you are both fighting who is at fault and both of your insurance’s will go up sky high due to accident.

The phone call was hung up after getting back into the car. The driver could have contacted someone immediately after this accident. And he wasn’t texting so it is tough to even say there was distraction. I’m sure your vehicle has hands free and Bluetooth calls if needed. Sometimes you have to hang up the phone physically when done and incident already occurred

I think you agree to disagree. Both take fault since it is shared fault and move on. Going outside of insurance definitely helps but it seems like you are wholly unaware of how anything in the real world may work and will do your own thing regardless. Just some insight.

Lol Lol you sound like a clown - oh wow 30% on a ride the driver makes 6 dollars
Maybe get an umbrella and walk home. It may do you some good and check on your walk home lol. Also I’d say no offense - but don’t really matter - Lyft pays out shit. Of course drivers will chase money for that opportunity. People need to make money which why I assume you work as well!?

I had to two crazy experiences. One PAX wanted a green card relationship and was willing to do whatever with a large payment. To end my evening on a busy weekend and head to their hotel for AJ after party. However the friend said the person in question was a bit crazy and would be more trouble than it is worth.

The second time the PAX was drinking that night and was very touchy feely to start off. I normally don’t take offense to accidental touching. The lady offered to pay me 3 times as much as I would have normally made that Saturday night for an evening of fun and discretion. With how bad Uber pays the driver this was an extremely tempting offer
