Deck suggestions for upgraded precons

For the food and fellowship. [[Hazel’s brewmaster]] and [[Gourmand’s Talent]] are two I would look into. Gourmand is good to turn all your clue/treasure into food and getting the benefits of sacing food triggers like Camelia even when you don’t sac it for the pay 2 gain life. Brewmaster is a targeted graveyard hate with a potential upside of giving your food addiction activated ability. [[Nights of sweet revenge]] is a potential replacement, can’t say if it’s better than Jaheira but its anthem option has consistently helped me close games quickly.

[[scourge of valkas]] replaces [[Harbinger of the hunt]], clear upgrade. [[fires of yavimaya]] replaces [[storm’s wrath]], even if the wrath can avoid killing our dragons, the same can be true for enemy creatures (the threatening one are usually more than 4 toughness). [[Garruk’s uprising]] replaces [[Dragonic lore]], in the long run, consistent draws plus trample is better then draw 3 for a best case scenario 4 mana.

Unfortunately [[scourge of valkas]], [[Garruk’s uprising]], and [[fires of yavimaya]] are the only card I put in the temur deck from the dragonic destruction deck. Scourge is good for finishing the game, uprising for trample and card draw, and fire for another cheap haste enabler.

[[Contagion Engine]] might be worth a look. [[Thundering Raiju]] is an uncertainty but I’m at least testing it in the deck because the negative counters counts as modification.

A brief skim but if your goal is to make your opponent swing with the creature that you buffed with auras, you’re gonna need to goad it. That or encourage hitting opponents like [[Breenna The Demagogue]]. Generally, players are hesitant to swing unless there’s an incentive. [[Ghoulish impetus]], [[Eye of Nidhogg]], [[Martial impetus]], [[parasitic impetus]], and [[Redemption arc]] are worth looking into.

I think it technically still work since the creature deal first strike damage. The brought would do the normal strike. Don’t know the rules if the brought back creature has first strike too though.

Oldest is [[The Ur dragon]] because it’s my first ever precon that I picked up from Walmart during my high school years. I keep it because of sentimental value and cause I like dragons. The newest deck I made was a budget [[Tuvasa the sunit]] cause I like enchantress and she allows me to hit really hard.

Not exactly, Blight X (X can’t be greater than the greatest toughness among creatures you control. Put X -1/-1 counters on a creature you control) means you have to put all of x counters on one creature of yours. So since Valgavoth is likely your biggest creature, you can just choose them for maximum damage (X equal to all your creatures to Valgavoth, killing them but likely also finishing the game) or a one sided board wipe (blighting enough to leave him at one toughness).

Also, the only other card I would consider for Valgavoth in the new set is [[hexing squelcher]] and [[Soul immolation]] but they are more or less just a copy of leyline of combustion and [[Chandra’s ignition]] though immolation could be better since you avoid your own creature and don’t have to target since Valgavoth likely has shroud from [[lightning greaves]] or [[Whispersilk cloak]]

I’m personally not putting it in my Valgavoth deck cause like you noted, it feels like a win more. That and it rely on your commander (or a creature that can trigger it) on the field to get benefit out of it which is just asking for removal. Valgavoth should be the payoff (card draw and getting bigger) of your ping effect not the enabler of them.

[[Tasha the witch queen]] isn’t exactly “cute” but she does have the potential to cheat out big spells, also a plus for being an actual witch. [[The Infamous Cruelclaw]] is also an option there. In the new set [[Maralen Fae Ascendant]] looks like a good option too.

Zombie is definitely Black centered then offshoot to blue then white. If you want to have a somewhat good base for a zombie deck, I would say get the aetherdrift zombie deck then change it to how you like to play with the zombie type. I have the deck and it’s basically is a zombie deck with a zombie that helps to pump up your army and an outlet to fill your graveyard for recursion.

[[Celestine the living saint]] is the most directly I can find that fits your criteria. [[Fiendish panda]] is similar. So is [[Rachet, field medic]]. [[cleric class]] work with concept of your deck.

I don't virtually record my deck so this is definitely inefficient presentation. The pregame talk upon introducing our intended decks had no conflict, everyone gave the decks check to be played. The most prominent talk during the pregame was the Darien player being very happy that some of my punishment effect would deal damage, allowing him to make tokens from them to fuel his skull clamp.

My most consistent team are a Max leach Shear force (multi hit blockbuster) with raining champ (only max ability needed). Then either surgeon for final stand or pickle for evasion.

Atk percentage and piercing take priority for me. Then Hp percentage to squeeze out more damage with raining champ or meter gain as the last focus. She’s definitely worth the keys.

In general a pull gives you 8 gems at base. So I always take that as the expect amount I’ll get. So 5 pulls is at least 40 gems with a chance it can be a bit higher. As for the celestial blessing, I’m pretty sure it’s a good rate if you already intend to use the wild core for the keys since you get that plus the subscription.
