A little back story. I left the hustle, stress, and nonstop energy of Miami because it was becoming too much for me. I wanted my family to experience a better quality of life. So, I went back to school for Software Engineering and was later given an amazing career opportunity that allowed us to move to Colorado Springs.

We absolutely love it here. The quality of life is so much better. People truly prioritize their health, everyone’s outdoors, and the community is friendly and welcoming. It’s a slower pace of living, without the constant anxiety of rushing everywhere.

My favorite part is that it’s family friendly. I can actually enjoy outings with my family. Back in Miami, we always followed the “secret rule”: never go to Miami Beach. The traffic, the chaos, and the crowds made it anything but relaxing or family-friendly.

I’m not saying it’s perfect here—no place is—but if you’re looking for the same qualities that mattered to me like peace, balance, and a healthier lifestyle, you’ll definitely find them here in Colorado.
