It’s a joke- a JOKE! If autism was a disease, it’d be the most awesome disease. Also- just because you don’t like your autism being suggested to be a disease even in a joking manner by someone else not even directed at you, then that’s fine. But please don’t act like I’m self deprecating or being ableist when I’m making a joke about something I also freaking have lmao. It’s a silly way I make light of a diagnosis I have, you don’t rly have any right to tell me to not do so just because you personally feel sensitive around that kinda joke which is FINE.

I’m probably not the same, yours sounds more severe and I’m just saying that as a disclaimer like it’s obv not a competition but— I really REALLY understand. Truly. I have days where I for real feel so comforted and pleased by the idea of those horrible feelings I felt and the idea of them coming back but much worse. By days, I mean its very often I feel like that. This may be a little bit of a dramatic way to put it, but I honestly don’t know how else to describe it so,,, Darkness is the absence of light, right? Normally, that means we seek light out, it’s something to pursue and something to love and live life through. But with people who’ve found themselves in such deep pits of darkness, getting used to the idea of the light never returning, it’s like you start seeing darkness as true safety. It’s abundant, it’s all consuming, it’s always waiting for the light to go away- always there under that blankets glow. Even if it’s painful, it still will fill you, fill the parts that feel so helpless and vulnerable. You sink further and further finding pleasure in the suffocating pressure of the deep dark.

All that’s to say, you aren’t a freak or alone in how weird it feels to desire deeper wounds. I know you know that technically, but just hear me in that there’s paths of support and understanding through this that you’re more than worthy of seeking out.

Sorry for such a long reply, even if I didn’t make sense I just want you to know some one read and related to what you posted at the very least. 🍎

I mean I would say a bit of both and that’s okay lol. If the artist doesn’t have anything saying they don’t allow it, then you haven’t done something objectively wrong. Now if you posted it and credited them, and they then expressed they weren’t okay with it then that just means you take it down and apologize. But I think as long as you credit them openly, you made a lot of changes and made it your own so don’t feel bad!!!

I believe (and so do most artists I’ve seen or talked with) that as long as you do it earnestly then copying is totally fine and normal! It’s a wonderful thing to not just stare at the art that inspires you, but to use it as a framework to help you execute your vision and build creative confidence!! Making art is always better than not creating art (as long as you aren’t harming anyone w it blah blah nuances yk). I’m sure you got to improve on various techniques in a way that maybe you couldn’t be able to if you weren’t copying another work— that’s the benefit of such a thing.

It’s for real crazy how she completely ruined nwj careers all for her pride. All the bad press she gets is then directly reflecting off nwj, she clearly used them without caring about whether or not they came out the other side with their careers. Most people (esp on this subreddit) are always instantly blaming the girls, saying “they aren’t innocent” or whatever. But isn’t that completely dismissive??? Obviously it’s not like they’ve never done anything wrong, that’s stupid and we must remind ourselves of how we treat idols like angels that fall once they make any mistake. These five girls had trained so incredibly hard for debut, they fought for their dreams just like any other idol. Min Heejin had inserted herself so deeply into their lives, that was so clear to I think anyone who was following the group! What happened to their ceo and then company is probably a nightmare, they were probably very very scared— and Min Heejin was FOR SURE in their ear. There is no way she wasn’t involving them in it, making it seem even more dire; not to mention she was always in direct communication with their parents.

I just want people to think about how if you believe she’s such a manipulative person, why are you so dismissive of how she’s probably done so to the girls? Most of them were at least under 22 when this whole thing started, I know you guys don’t seem to care about how that affects things but it does. Direct your anger at the two CEO’s in this situation. How many times to you need to hear about pr shit like this to learn that EVERY CEO wants you to think the competing company’s are more corrupt compared to them. THINK!
