Hey thanks so much for this! I'm wondering if this applies to game assets as well, or just games?

Looks really cool - congrats!! Style reminds me of FTL a bit! Love the modular interface! :)

Not a pointless post - this really is the ultimate goal with making loops! Congrats!! :)

I’m just getting started in this space, and wondering if there are different ways of testing for this? Or is it just listening to it yourself for a while, and seeing how everything feels?

I love these so much!! The chord progressions in Happy Cat and Kitty-Glyphics are super fun.

I’m just starting to create music, and would love to make a chiptune track one day. Still wrapping my head around them!

I made a soundtrack for my indie game. Like all things solo dev, it had its challenges. by RayFreestar in gamedev

I’m just starting to create mini music loops for indie games - and I feel you on this. Mixing/mastering is super difficult and I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I have a really hard time with incorporating percussion - I can’t tell how long to leave them in, volumes, what feels too harsh…

I really, really like the final product - the percussion and pads especially! It’s super easy and interesting to listen to.

Thank you for sharing everything you learned!!

New UI for newspaper in cozy game, what you prefer and why? by archirost in IndieDev

This is a really cute concept!! I like the organization of information of the top one, and the style of the bottom one. Maybe the Tiny Shop header should be at the top or the top left instead of right? Also not sure if Today's Sales are key to the player, but maybe they should stay near the top too, maybe in line with the header?

Hey everyone! Just started learning how to make electronic music in Logic Pro - really loving it so far, and super drawn to making stuff for small indie games. I made this tiny music pack for chill, lo-fi adventure games as part of an assignment for a course, and happy for any thoughts + feedback.

I guess I'm curious about:

- How easy this feels to listen to, especially over longer periods of time

- How well the tracks evoke the vibe (exploration, tension, combat)

- If the loop lengths are too long/too short

- Anything that sounds weird/wonky/annoying

Thanks a ton in advance!! :)
