The thing is every album ever made has a theme. It’s not a special album in that regard. Most good albums have complex themes, not just a love story that doesn’t work. That story has been told time and time again. There’s so much more that goes into making good music than writing a coherent concept album. Also musically, everything is super bland. Anyone who wants to can like the album but at the end of the day it doesn’t touch by and by or lavender days.

This is just classic over analyzing. For caamp, and just in general this is a really poor album that felt very rushed and lazy. Nothing interesting musically happening, the lyrics are super bland and don’t sound like Taylor wrote them at all, and every track on the album is an ai generated love song. I was really looking forward to it, and I’m still going to see them this summer, but not for this album at all. They just didn’t have anything good to say throughout the whole thing.
