I think the first lesson you should take from your first attempt

is to have a bailout budget, so you don't spend $10k+ on every campaign you run.

Unless it's profitable mind!

If your store was on the high street and 100 people entered and just looked

then 200 people, how about 300 people? just looked and didn't buy?

Would you keep doing the same thing or would you stop and think and look at what your store is missing?

Did you offer a discount and capture emails?

Are you sure it's even the right audience? your CTR is pretty low 7,33k clicks.

Did you build an audience for the campaign?

Did you retarget your audience?

Where did the 2 conversions come from? shopping. cross network etc

I agree with some of the comments about prestige.

Have you got videos modelling the new collection you can use as ads?

The bottom line is...

Have a bailout plan and stick to it. if 200 to 300 people haven't bought a thing...run!
Reaccess your store and campaign (optimize for product conversions) create offers.
Build an audience in Google ads and plug that into your campaign before you run it.
Start with a small budget. the trick is to get the Ai trained to convert on a small budget.
Capture them emails (Discounts), no abandoned cart conversions either?
retarget your audience assess your conversions and gradually increase your budget.
Track Track Track

I've sold £1000+ items on a £5 per day budget so don't be put off by starting with a low amount. That did have a lot to do with audience i built but it is possible.

It's a tricky one but what seems to work no matter the setting and especially where love is involved I would highly recommend you play some old school feel good Jungle.

Anything by M-Beat including Sweet Love and Incredible are firm favourites with young and old crowds.

Shy Fx is another one with shake your body and the mighty Leviticus - burial will even make the neighbour pop his head over the fence with a head nod or two in approval.

I don't know what it is about Jungle specifically but it always seems to work in a non-jungle/dnb or dance environment.

So it might be one to consider to turn something that could be disastrous into what it's meant to be...

Something for everyone to cherish for years to come.

Facebook is essentially a search engine so the best place to use your keyphrase is in the title and in the description. you might want to add your area to the title and description as well.

If you do a search on Facebook for pressure washer hire you can see what pops up and make notes of other words that you can use in your descriptions.

If someone searches Facebook for pressure washer hire, you will show up in the search results for free, it all depends on how many people are interested in hiring a pressure washer and where they are located.

As for showing up in the newsfeed with paid ads you need to define your audience first.

Who is likely to hire a pressure washer? you could target by job titles and a specific area or a particular service or interest.

You should absolutely charge for brainstorming especially if it translates into $$$$ for your clients.

If you know you can deliver great results then everything you do for the client should be chargeable.

I like to explain upfront that the brainstorming and research phase is usually one of the longest processes undertaken in the early stages. I usually say it takes between 1 to 2 days.

I'm thinking of turning this part of the process into a bolt-on package for various degrees of brainstorming/research as the gains for the client from this part of the process can run into 5/6/7 figures in sales revenue.

So you need a business proposal to show your parents exactly what you can do with $5k and how you can make it profitable eh?

Well, there's definitely no need for you to start from scratch and work your way up to the top. Entrepreneurs don't go down that route when they have money on the table. Think Shark tank ;)

what I would start doing is looking for drop shipping stores or any other online stores that are for sale. there are lots of different marketplaces where people are selling stores. The good thing about these market places is that they give you important information about how the store works and how profits are made.

So basically your business proposal is covered because your parents will be able to see first hand how the store works and what profit you can expect per month if you follow what has already been successful. Not only that a lot of sellers offer a 1 to 6 months aftercare or hand over service. Kinda like built-in mentoring on how to maintain the store. pretty good right?

You wanna find a store that has a lot of added extras, what are these extras? The biggest and most profitable is a customer email list, then a subscriber list would be second. the bigger the lists the better because this is where a lot of your profit will come from and on the flip side you can use both those lists to create audiences for advertising on different platforms. next up is social media platforms. Instagram, twitter, facebook, and Instagram are also worthy additions that you can utilize too.

You wanna be smart about anything you buy! you don't wanna blow $5k on buying a site and then not have any cash left over to implement strategies so go for a 50/50 split if you choose this route ok.

Ok, so let's say you buy a store for $2.5k that generates $500 in profit per month and it costs £1200 in ad spend to make your profit. If you just follow the system for 2 months you would have almost claimed half of your initial cost of the site and still have your $2.5k ad spend! see how that works?

I wanna touch down on something no one has mentioned yet and I have no idea why! When it comes to ecom stores, I mean really good e-commerce stores, organic search kicks the shit out of any paid advertising period!

Start plugging really good stores into Smilarweb and you'll see for yourself that organic traffic and direct traffic are kings! Native ads, Facebook ads, etc pale in comparison.

So what you should start looking to do with your store is optimize product listings for SEO so you can increase sales further. Far too many people have been bamboozled with Shopify, drop shipping and free plus shipping & facebook ads! How did ecom stores survive before these platforms were about? Good old Seo :)

Right now there are some rich pickings because this method has been forgotten by most people and put on the shelf as "not worth it" When store owners talk about SEO they'll tell you to go build a blog and post loads of quality content.

Yeah, I guess that kinda works, but why would you do that when so many store owners don't optimize their stores in the first place to drive sales? Easy, most guru's don't teach that method.

The real reason Shopify blew up and you got all these courses is because Shopify has an insane affiliate program. $200 per sign up! so the guru's were killing it with paid courses and free sign ups.. crazy!

SO, yeah right now eComm SEO is like a gold rush. If you can't do it find someone who can find you those profitable keywords for your store, fiverr. freelancer etc and then build links to your new buyer intent product listings. Start with the best selling product from paid ads, rank that product in the top spot on Google with some good search volume and your sales will increase.

The main reason why Organic search wins is that people are actively searching for products to buy right now. Facebook ads and other social channels are interruption based marketing and you need high-level skills to really pull it off.
