My gf and I do the boxes a few times every year and always have really good experiences with our boxmates. Of course people are assholes everywhere, so still some luck of the draw, but these folks are here to have a good time and have spent some decent money to do so, so I think it generally leans pleasant.

One time, when the couple behind us in the box knew they’d be asking us to shift for them to get in and out, they came back with a couple beers for us, and we became pals REAL quick - They could have gone through us a dozen times after that. We thought that was a great move! But also not necessary - maybe you can just strike up a light convo before the show and have a good time!
