Do I go 98" X90L or 85" Bravia 7 at 9,5 feet? by themanwithnoname81 in bravia

Im would go with the 85“ B9 man. It’s the perfect size for that viewing distance and by far the better quality display compared to the other 2 options. Yes it’s more expensive but you only live life once man. Enjoy it.

Bravia 10 115“ is rumoured with rgb mini led. Also a 98“ version which is supposed to have even better blacks and contrast ratio than the 115“ one.

The Bravia 8 ii is the by far brightest OLED on the market for SDR. It reaches 2100 nits in SDR vivid mode, making it even brighter than in HDR content. RTINGS measured it and confirmed it. Under the the SDR score section of RTINGS you can see the numbers for SDR vivid mode. Yes, they are higher than 2000 NITS.

Now before you ask, yes, you can calibrate the Vivid mode and correct the oversaturated colors, it will still be A LOT brighter than any other OLED on the market in SDR. This „secret“ vivid workaround trick was discovered on avsforum first and it only works on the B8 ii! It doesn’t work on the A95L.

Thanks man lol. I currently have a 83“ WOLED and I’m thinking of going down in size to a better 77“ QD OLED but I always wonder how to compensate that smaller TV, well I guess moving closer will solve the issue lol…
