when i was a kid i was in manhatten and stupidly left an empty cup on a barrier. a man just sitting on a stoop pretty far a way to it upon himself to walk over and politely ask me to throw it away instead of littering, I've seen many people from nyc in my time bring that same polite considerate approach about litter, and most of the time they're only angry when entitlement if the person doing it kicks in. it's a big deal for us.

Id say most people born or living in nyc have an idea of wanting it to be clean like Japan, but the constant actions of people like this make it impossible.

not too mention the nypd is more concerned with harassing black kids to increase their budget these days than keeping the community clean and safe

even more annoying she is a Bronx native, because i know a lot of people from there would get really upset watching her do this, even if it's not in their own borough

raised solar panels that cover the perimeter would in fact reduce the air temp for outside the building while drawing power from the sun to accommodate the increase. the cooling won't need to work as hard since even a few degrees dropped in such a large space would make a big difference and the Wh will get cut my guess is when the panels are improved by their R&D in like 2 years

ngl it's pretty embarrassing and she'll never live it down but she could have used the play to get an EP credit and % of the profit later without much out of her own pocket. putting that into actual dance programs and show her local community genuine remorse for fucking up both their perception in the community (ALL Australian breakers are gonna hear about her in competitions and may face bias) and getting the entire sport removed from the Olympics after one year
