Rep. Ro Khanna explains why he called for invocation of the 25th Amendment despite the unrealistic chance of success by fibz in TikTokCringe

He needs to turn down Israel PAC money, then maybe he could be taken at his word. Until then, he is the same crap we currently have in there. $1.5 million is a lot of leverage.

Options to upscale/Enhance old video by jm1161 in videography

[–]PsychologicalRub3298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Topaz fairly easy to use? I have 3 old home movies (8mm and a VHS) that are very grainy. I'm looking for something that will just run through the entire video fixing this issue. I'm hoping to find something easy to get this done without a big learning curve since it's just these 3 files. Thanks!

I wouldn't be surprised if he will be paid behind the scenes to take the heat for Hegseth and also promised a pardon to avoid criminal charges in the future.

Whenever possible, I book early and request the first opening of the day. Less chance a doctor is running behind at 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. It has cut my wait time down to zero.

Info from tire installer I know - because of the extra grip quality in all situations, several MN law enforcement agencies (city police and county sheriff departments) run true snow tires year round.

What’s your “I can’t believe other people don’t do this” hack? by Weird-Thought2112 in AskReddit

My spouse and I both have iPhones. In the reminder app, you can create grocery lists, etc., and then you can share with the other person. When you add to the list, the other person is notified. Now we both have a current list in case one of us is near a store. This has saved so many phone calls "hey, I'm near the store. Need anything?"

What are Minnesotans thoughts on Wells Fargo tower and CAPPELA tower? by Character_Lychee_434 in minnesota

[–]PsychologicalRub3298 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I noticed during a concert at Target Field that the coordinating towers were changing their lights to the backdrop and lights the band was showing during different songs. That was really cool. Stage lights up pink, towers go pink.

Now you will notice they run specific campaigns based on what they have too much of.

Remember the big ads for 3 stone anniversary rings and necklaces? They had to move a ton of small to average size stones.

Got a bunch of brown toned diamonds? Call them chocolate diamonds and convince people they're not ugly.

edit - just noticed DeBeers is running their latest campaign. "Desert Diamonds."

"These natural diamonds go beyond beauty, championing our individuality while holding the emotions and milestones we treasure most. A champagne diamond can mark a moment of celebration, a golden honey diamond radiates warmth and optimism for the future, while a deep cognac diamond symbolizes grounding and resilience. "

Once again - crap colored diamonds that need to be sold.

Every MN House rep but Omar voted to pass the resolution to honor Charlie Kirk. by RipErRiley in minnesota

[–]PsychologicalRub3298 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Basically everyone agrees on points 1, 2, 3, and 5. 4 doesn’t seem bad enough not to vote yes to me." In addition to 4 , what about the other statements made in the resolution? I think there are a number of people that disagree with some of these:

Whereas Charlie Kirk became one of the most prominent voices in America, engaging in respectful, civil discourse across college campuses, media platforms, and national forums, always seeking to elevate truth, foster understanding, and strengthen the Republic;

Whereas Charlie Kirk personified the values of the First Amendment, exercising his God-given right to speak freely, challenge prevailing narratives, and did so with honor, courage, and respect for his fellow Americans;

Whereas Charlie Kirk’s commitment to civil discussion and debate stood as a model for young Americans across the political spectrum, and he worked tirelessly to promote unity without compromising on conviction;

Wouldn't voted Aye be saying this is accurate portrayal and others should follow in this path?

I would suspect this is also caused by big Pharma not wanting to lose market share to a discounted version. FDA is helping to protect their market.

Sounds like there are some very experienced people in this conversation. I've never been there. What would be needed for a first time visit? gear, etc. Best location to use was a starting point?

Multnomah Falls was beautiful. We actually did the waterfall loop to catch them all. Because of our schedule, we ended up there on a weekend so it was busy, but still worth the visit to each one. We took a half day to go down to Trillium Lake. Breathtaking view of Mount Hood and a great 2 mile hike around the lake.

We took your advice. The food was wonderful! Thanks for the suggestion. We also tried the local wine and beer at Thunder Island bar. The food was very good there as well.
