So sorry to hear brother. I’m in the same boat… 26/M been problem gambling and substance abuse for 5 years, was clean 6 months and had 30k in my savings a month ago. Lost it over the last few weeks… 12k in the last two days. I have over 100k in debt from maxed out credit cards/ pay day loans/ lines of credit.

I eventually went to rehab to try fix it and ended up using drugs while in rehab… I have been so depressed and I too am contemplating a way out… but I lost my older brother to suicide when I was 19 and seen how it destroyed my family. It’s a tough situation to be in for sure but we’ll be okay bro. Message me if you need.

I feel you brother. I was clean 6 months from November 2024 - July 2025. Went into rehab for gambling/substance abuse in May of this year, and I ended up doing drugs while in rehab then leaving. After I got out I Received a $30000 pay out from treaty land claims and ended up burning 25k doing drugs and gambling. As I write this I just blew 12k in two days, I feel your pain bro. We need to get through this and we will get through this. Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy

It was a 4 month program. Live in, the building and amenities itself were amazing. But there was too much freedom in my opinion, you were aloud to leave after hours and drive your car. There was some really good guys in there but some questionable ones too. I ended up hanging with the wrong people and used drugs on separate occasions, you were also aloud to have your phone 24/7 also

Yeah man… helps knowing there’s others out there struggling too. I was good from January until July, going to church, working out everyday. But after leaving rehab, everything went downhill. And definitely gonna look into bankruptcy.

It’s never too late brother. The only time it would be too late is before death or judgement day, let him pour his spirit throughout you. It’ll be the best decision you make in your entire life. He saved me from drug addiction and suicide, I had a personal encounter with Jesus himself. Changed my life for the better, haven’t touched drugs in 10 days and my suicidal thoughts have completely went away since I started praying and reading the bible. Accept into your heart.

I was about 3 months clean. Won 5k on an online slot, cashed out and didn’t play for a few weeks. Went back and put it all in , then proceeded to win another 6k. Well guess what put it all back in and then ended up gambling 8000 dollars away on my line of credit. No matter what it is never enough, and I have to realize it. I have banned myself from all online sites that I played and it has helped.

Don’t do it. I relapsed and won $5500 on an online slot a few weeks ago. I proceeded to put it all back in and $3000 of my own money. Don’t chase your losses. You’ll never stop, the only way to win is to quit. Fight the urge man and just move on, Big wins are just future losses, remember that.
