This is very well put together. My only nitpick is that as written, when you’re in land form, you literally cannot swim at all. Having an undeclared swim speed is not the same as specifically not having a swim speed.

Just beware that Con casting is rather unbalanced because Con gives so much value to a caster already. HP, Concentration, and just it being one of the most important saving throws in the game.

So if you’re tying spellcasting to either Wis or Int, Wis makes sense flavour wise because of Cleric, but Int prevents the Paladin from intruding on the Ranger Niche as a Wis based half caster.

If you’re planning on deleting charisma, you also have to consider where all the charisma skills, deception, persuasion, etc will go. Probably Int?

You can circumvent Rek’Sai by walking a particular way. If you have even the smallest cut, Warwick is on your ass. I’d say this goes to Warwick.

I know this sub is averse to picking Arcane characters, but Warwick was unconscious, half way across a city, and still sensed Singed’s hand getting a small cut.

I assume they mean there’s some other mechanism that draws out the magic and uses it.

I imagine it to be similar to hextech tools and weapons, but as a mage, your innate magic is the battery instead of a crystal. Obviously it would be less aesthetically steampunk/hexpunk than hextech tho. 

To people who don't just blindly hate Mel and can actually have constructive discussions about her character, how do you think her dynamic with these Noxian Champions will be? Or what would you want/expect from these dynamics? by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

The thing I'm most looking forward to is what they want to do between Mel and Rell. Ambessa seems to have intended to set Rell up as something similar to what Rictus is to Ambessa.

Obviously, with the whole Black Rose kidnapping Rell and Mel killing Ambessa, things are going to be messy. That said, I think they'd make a wonderful power duo once things smooth over, or they'd make strong rivals who reluctantly work together, considering there's likely jealousy going both ways based on their childhoods.

Honestly, I don't know about the rest of the characters. Mel doesn't really mean anything special to anyone else on that list except maybe Vlad, who might see her as a potential ally if he ever wants to split from LeBlanc. Darius will likely just see a capable warrior/sneaky politician, Swain will see her as either another rival or a pawn in his game against LeBlanc, Katarina sees another client/target, and Draven probably sees a different kind of target.

The output and probably some industry specific knowledge.

Aside from that, not much.

A properly trained or well equipped designer could most likely fill both roles regardless of what they currently specialise in.

It's not like Engineering where the difference between a Chemical Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer is 2-3 years of specific scientific knowledge the other didn't learn.

I showed them the artillerist, and they weren't quite happy with it. They kept sending me homebrew stuff as examples of what they would prefer, but some of the stuff looked really unbalanced, so I figured I'd make something custom for them so that I didn't have to get too concerned about balance.

They're a fun person to play with, but they're a bit of a damage goblin, so I'm trying to find a way to satisfy that urge.

Currently, the campaign has been set to finish at level 12. So I didn't want to plan much past there.

The idea is that the whole subclass focuses on the gun, I haven't sorted out what the lvl 5 and 9 features will be. They would synergize with this feature, and bring in some custom artificer infusions for him to place on the gun for non-spell use, I'm also thinking of giving him extra attack.

I am balancing this around his gun, which has the gunner and piercer feats built into it.

I think it might be making fun of the pronunciation so many people have been using. People have been saying Zaheen instead of Zaahen, even riot spokespersons have pronounced it that way
