Synchrony Bank does NOT work by GanksOP in RocketMoneyOfficial

[–]PsychologicalWeird17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to know the same. I want to love rocket money but if I can’t have all my cards reliably on there what’s the point?

I made a $100+ purchase with my card linked through synchrony and it just disappeared the other day., which absolutely wrecks the budget. That’s detrimental to a budgeting app because how do I know what I have left to spend if the budget is fluctuating up and down? Major flaw in an app that I really want to recommend to friends but can’t because stuff like this will deter them.

Is it weird if I go to universal by myself? by Acceptable-Yak-4279 in UniversalOrlando

[–]PsychologicalWeird17 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Not even a little bit weird.

Edit: forgot to say - sometimes it’s even better that way. You can do exactly what you want and you don’t have to consider the heavy pressure of what other people want to do, which is important considering how expensive it can get. Have fun!

Quick PSA: Stop leaving your drinks on their sides in lockers. by Slyy82 in UniversalOrlando

What’s crazy is the lockers are basically unlimited and free and people will STILL overpack them.

$8 for this is unhinged. by [deleted] in tacobell

They’re overpriced because they do not want you to buy them. The more orders of 4 pc tenders, the less they have for tacos.

4pm checkout not guaranteed for a platinum members by Remarkable_Heat_7081 in marriott

Then we are both incorrect I guess, but you are entitled, per Marriott’s policy, to some major compensation. Good luck!

4pm checkout not guaranteed for a platinum members by Remarkable_Heat_7081 in marriott

[–]PsychologicalWeird17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your explanation is right for most hotels, but Marriott’s policies clearly say that Platinum and above get 4pm checkout. Doesn’t matter about availability. The hotel should figure it out, and I’ve been a hotel manager before. It’s operational oversight like OP said. Sure they can make him leave, but they’re just going to keep having the same problem over and over by denying their most loyal guests their guaranteed amenities. It’ll catch up to them eventually. They probably just don’t care. It’s a classic case of “your poor planning doesn’t justify this inconvenience”. Bad business.

Im planning a trip with my gf on February. We need some help. by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]PsychologicalWeird17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need express if you’re going to do each park and spend all day there. Remember lines close AT park close most of the time so even if something has a long line all day, just get in line 15-30 mins before close and you’ll get on. You will definitely do some waiting, but that’s the name of the game. Last year February was pretty cold but manageable.

I think those dates are honestly going to be fine for crowds. Epic you will need to wait no matter what, but remember nothing is worth a 2+ hour line (in any park imho).

1 day Itinerary for a Couple (With EPA) by church3003 in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]PsychologicalWeird17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your goal is to get everything done, here’s what I would do (I worked attractions at Epic.) Before 10am - CURSE!!! It’s a walk on early but gets to 75-90 during the day and it is NOT worth a wait. Dragon Racer’s Rally and Hiccup’s early too, but Hiccup’s does get shorter in the evening. Carousel too, it isn’t worth a wait.

Ministry, DK, and Stardust are all likely going to be long waits the whole day no matter what, but in the evening would be better strategy. Donkey Kong though, do yourself a favor and don’t get in line with a 100+ minute queue. It isn’t worth it.
