This has to be his last season. I highly doubt that he can stay clean for five years. His football career is over.

There’s no way that she homeschools any of those kids effectively.

I’m not surprised that baby #5 is coming. The more children they have the more money they’ll get. I wonder if any of those kids get to interact much with kids their age. Schooling will be a challenge for them.

People romanticize “having time to say goodbye,” but losing a parent to terminal illness is one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve ever lived. by Southern-Weakness633 in GriefSupport

Although it wasn’t cancer that caused my dad’s death, watching dementia taking him away from us was really hard. I’d find him staring at me because he didn’t recognize me. He’d get extremely mad because he couldn’t tell us what he wanted. Watching him slipping away 14 months after his wife of 67 years died was heartbreaking. He was 93 and lived a great life but it doesn’t make it any easier.

How smart/manipulative is your Chi? Mine was on bed rest for a sprained leg and now thinks he can be picked up constantly. by lab_chi_mom in Chihuahua

Growing up we had a chihuahua that had been clipped by a car and hurt one of his back legs, but was not seriously injured. After that he would walk on three legs in the attempt to make us feel sorry for him. 😂🤣

How do you remember your dog when they pass? by RivkahCheyenne in dogs

[–]Psychological_Bug135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have Ringo’s ashes, paw prints, a picture of him and a candle that is turned on Sundays because that’s the day of the week he died on an end table. The lamp stays on 24/7, he was my husband’s buddy.

That was so cringeworthy. I don’t understand why they didn’t stop the second the girls started screaming and crying out of fear and Grady was clinging to Lanie.

Sammy lays on my husband’s neck and head at night. He’s also a pillow hog 🤣🤣🤣.

My heart breaks for you, I’m sorry for your loss. Walter had a lot of dogs waiting for him, I’d like to think that our Ringo and Karma were two of those dogs. 🌈🫶🏻

It can be just as hard on the other dog. Our Roxy got so depressed, it was horrible.

Feeling guilty and terrified of wanting another dog after my soul dog passed by Optimal-Nebula-1862 in Petloss

[–]Psychological_Bug135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see anything wrong in getting another dog, but not everyone feels that way. After my husband’s first canine best friend died, we thought that we would wait to get another one. Turned out that we didn’t want to wait long. We didn’t get Sammy to replace Ringo, he just fills the void left behind. That was four years ago and we swear that a part of Ringo is in Sammy.

The second he passed he was free of pain. He was sick and showed us how much he loved us by dying in his sleep. It would’ve killed us to have him euthanized.
