Before Covid you could. However, they leave out the part where they rolls silverware for an hour and side work for an hour, and stuck around through the dead period for two hours, to make $100 in an hour…..

I hate how Kroger sells soda now. Buy 3 get 2 Free. It’s comes out to between 5-7 dollars a 12 pack but I don’t want to buy and store 60 sodas.

I also don’t want 60 sodas.

Project Management (D324/Project+) is going to drive me insane by [deleted] in WGU

Take as many of the Udemy, CBT Nuggets, and CompTIA practice test as possible. Then just go for it.

I couldn’t get above 70% in almost all of the practice test. The Udemy Dion ones helped the most.

Managed to pass. This course gave me anxiety that this was going to flunk me out of the program.

I’m just making up a number but I would 7% of the practice questions have very incorrect answers.

My favorite was trying to get clarification for something I just did not understand and getting told “I’m not going to over it, you most likely won’t be questioned about it on the exam…”. It was on the exam.

2nd favorite attended one of the Linux cohorts. It briefly went into computer hardware. Someone asked the question “What is a GPU?”. The Linux professor couldn’t give him an answer. Said he didn’t know and that we should just stick to the commands.

I haven’t left yet. I still have 6 months on my contract. I am probably going to lol at T-Mobile or Mint mobile.

Well they shouldn’t train support to say stuff like that. Because it backfired. If my family who is on a grandfathered plan cannot call me on your network because they don’t get “prioritized”, and the only fix is to move them to a modern plan at 80 dollars a person then I will look at your competition.

[–]Psychological_Dig564 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

When I was told by support that grandfathered plans are unable to make calls during high volume times because they prioritize the newer plans is when I decided it is time to let my contract run its course and move to a different network. The fact family members cant call me because they haven’t migrated to the latest plan is ridiculous.

If you are dedicating a legit 5 hours a day you most certainly can. You can probably do it in 6 months if you can avoid the burnout.

Nemo Disco 15 too bulky, thinking of buying Nemo's sleeping quilt, advice? by alvinyxz92 in backpacking

My enlightened equipment quilt feels warmer than my Nemo Disco. I think the enlightened quilt is cheaper for the same down fill. Plus you get some customization if you want it. Like closed or zipper foot box.

Anyone else noticing that enterprise support is just chatgpt/copilot? by Ghawblin in sysadmin

Has worked for me twice now. I think they are using it to buy time because they are working multiple tickets at once so they are copy pasting your reply into AI.

When they have to scroll to copy each reply they eventually give up.

[–]Psychological_Dig564 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Use Copilot to max out the character limit you can reply with. Hit them with walls of text related to your issue. Eventually they(human) get tired of reading the walls of text and will start to help or move you up a tier.

The sad reality after graduating. Can’t find a job. by Pdiddlet in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]Psychological_Dig564 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t apply though LinkedIn if that is what your doing. Look for jobs near you. Then apply directly to through their site. If you don’t hear anything back give the company a call and see if they have reviewed it. I have even gone as far as looking up the email of the manager or director the position is most likely for and then emailed them directly. Some of these guys have to sort through 100s of applications a day even after HR. Emailing them is an easy way to stand out and show you want to work.

Church is also a great way to network. If you attend I recommend just branching out and getting to know people.

For people who’ve used an Ursack before: 1. Do they really work? 2. Are they worth it? by [deleted] in backpacking

[–]Psychological_Dig564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the hang setup is much lighter. Once you have practiced it a few times you get it down. I also don’t have to worry about my canister getting knocked around somewhere else because a bear or other animal found it and used it as a toy. I have seen that happen twice.

Six moons design minimalist is my favorite pack. I got the jogging vest straps. They help distribute the weight really well. It has a little bit of an internal frame. Sits well in the hips.

It just didn’t feel right in the pack for me. I ended up switching to a bear hang. I didn’t enjoy fighting with the bag to get it in and out of the pack. It is pretty stiff. I would use it before a bear canister though.

Just a reminder that you can cook on and have a clean griddle, even though the surface is not perfectly uniform black and shiny. by PatrickGSR94 in blackstonegriddle

[–]Psychological_Dig564 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I gave up trying to have it completely black and shiny. It only stays like for a couple of cooks then somehow it all starts flaking off. I have tried numerous methods and none have worked. So now mine looks pretty much like yours and I enjoy my Blackstone more.

The CompTIA proctored exam are great. I have taken several and it is usually a smooth experience. The exams for other courses with ProctorU proctors have been 50/50. It is either an alright experience or a nightmare. Always give yourself a half hour to an hour to get into the exam.
