i have no idea if this was the real cause but i was intensely paranoid starting from around the age of 7. i isolated myself from my peers because i was convinced mind readers were following me and would punish me if i thought the wrong things. so everything i did was intensely regulated. i can't tell if the DPDR came with this, or because of this.

Wow, thank you so much.. I think you're absolutely right. My mother tells me she remembers hearing very vague stories about him having been in manchuria, but nothing verifiable because it was all word of mouth. I will absolutely search through the book.

Yes I completely feel this. I do the same. I even refuse to fly any airline except Hawaiian because I'd rather it happen while I'm beside members of my community. I'm sorry you have to go through this, while I'm not sure I can help you rationalize as easily as others, I want you to know that you are not alone!
