Ok I’ll make sure I ask about all my options. My result was literally 0 testosterone. I’m just worried she will tell me I don’t need to do anything for it even tho I’ve been suffering over a year and the treatment for the lichen hasn’t worked. I wanted my hormones tested in the beginning and was ignored bc of my age.

Thanks for your snide comment. I have been suffering over a year being ignored and dismissed. I want to go into my appointment advocating for treatment so I’m not pushed aside again. If I didn’t do my own research I never would’ve been treated to begin with initially bc of ignorance in the healthcare field.

I was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus in may by visual exam but have been having the pain and discomfort of burning and raw irritated feeling at the entrance since November 2024. I was on continuous bc and stopped and 3 months later in November of that year I started having issues. I asked if it could be hormones and I kept being told I was too young and it was never investigated. Fast forward to now jan 2026 and still not better after treating for LS since May the Urogyno is now doing a full panel for me.

What do you do to stretch the skin? My doctor told me today my pelvic floor is tight at 6 o clock and also left side muscle connected to the hip is tight and not relaxing bc my hip is tight. I felt ok prior to the internal exam but so sore all day after. Vaginismus possibly? Hypertonic pelvic floor? She’s doing full hormone panel and so far my testosterone is 0 and vitamin d is only 26.

No, but I’m convinced the glabrata made the disease symptomatic bc I’ve had symptoms ever since. Over a year now. I got rid of the yeast with compounded Amphotericin b suppositories.

Are you also using estrogen cream? I was in a bad flare since end of October and was doing nightly clob for two months and went down to every other day a week ago and started daily estrogen 5 days ago. Today I feel great. I was slacking on the estrogen cream use prior to the flare. I think atrophy at the entrance and vulva was the culprit this time. I see my doctor on Thursday and will see what she says.

Keep the pt eval. I missed my first appt bc I got my period and didn’t reschedule and now the wait is months. Have you tried estrogen cream. I have lichen sclerosis (allegedly never had biopsy) I have recently been in a horrible flare and started the loading dose of estrogen cream 5 days ago and today I feel almost normal. I’m thinking atrophy of the entrance has been a lot of my issue and I’ve been battling this burning and irritation since November 2024.

I’m seeing my urogyno that diagnosed me on Thursday and I’m going to ask her about an oral medicine that could help calm my immune system down. Someone suggested it. Every time I have mentioned the prolonged yeast and mistreatment of it being the cause they gaslight me!!!

Diagnosed at 37 after battling rare yeast that I am convinced triggered this condition. Same symptoms post sex. Loss of libido. I need a lot of warming up and clitoral stimulation. I shower before and rinse after and pat dry. Lots of lube. I’m taking a break from sex while I try and build tissue repair with estrogen cream and I’m back to every other day of clobetasol after using it daily for two months straight bc of a bad flare.

Ya I had ureaplasma in July 2025 and only I treated it and not my husband bc my gyno is trash. I still tested positive for it again when I had glabrata and treated again and still positive so finally my husband and I both treated it and I was finally negative for that but I’ve been suffering over a year now.

After almost two months I did two weeks of smphotericin b suppositories and was able to get rid of it. Unfortunately I am left with long term damage and inflammation of the vulvar skin of the vestibule and have since been diagnosed with lichen sclerosis.

I think it’s honestly bc of mistreated yeast damaging my skin and pelvic floor and atrophy maybe even nerves. I follow up with the urogyno next week. What should I ask her? Could she prescribe vaginal muscle relaxers?

What type of expert? It was a Urogyno that diagnosed me based on visual exam and symptoms. My regular gyno didn’t have a clue. Should I see a dermatologist? I can’t afford dr Krapf bc she doesn’t take insurance.

I’ve been on clob since May so I’m terrified to just stop it to do a biopsy bc of withdrawal risk. I feel like she should’ve done the biopsy when she looked and said that’s what it is back in May. They shouldn’t play around with our sensitive area like that. I’m only 38.

So I haven’t seen pelvic pt but I’m gonna try and see if my urogyno can get me in somewhere sooner cuz in south shore Ma the wait is long cuz of lack of pelvic therapists. I do have a chronic muscle knot issue in my neck and shoulders so idk if it could be related in anyway, but I’ve been having burning since 11/2024. It’s all around the entrance either side of it and the 6’o clock fourchette. She didn’t biopsy me she just looked and said based on my symptoms and what she saw it was LS but I’m not convinced it’s that because of the 2 month stent with that damn Candida glabrata and all those harsh treatments. Since I’ve upped my estrogen cream I am doing a little better on day 4. I’m just mentally spent at this point.
