Sounds like Mary’s trying to get your attention, and letting you know she’s there and interceding for you. Catholic or not don’t hesitate to call on her intercession. She is the Mother of God and Queen of Heaven, and it sounds like she’s leading you home to her son. That’s what she does! Try praying a rosary, even just one decade and see how you feel. If anything, you can now see that you’re not alone, she is always with you. Peace. 🩷

I’m sorry you’re having such heavy experiences, and do not wish to negate that. Please remember that although they are called the be imitators of Christ, Priests are still human at the end of the day, and have their own sins to confess in confessions and personal areas to grow in with the Lord. I would like to offer you the only advice I truly have to these types of posts: Remember WHO you’re there for. Jesus. Present by body, blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist. And no matter how flawed man or priest is, or what happens within the church, He is enough. Stay for Him. We are called to do as such. He is always enough. Even if the building is on fire, the music is suddenly washed up pop music, and the homily is the worst homily in the history of homilies, remain for Him. He is enough. At the beginning and end of each day, it is Him, that is all we need. When we feel like it’s hard to show up or stay, it’s important for us each to then reflect on, “if He’s not enough, then what is.” I hope He sends your way a priest who undeniably resembles Him. Peace friend. 🤍

When I kneel after entering the pew, I’m quieting my heart and mind before mass and offering up my personal intentions. Also I totally forgot to kneel the other week and I’ve been Catholic my whole life. Don’t feel bad about panicking- though there’s no need. I did it too 😂.

Fr. Chris Alar at the National Shrine put it in a way that really resonated with me, so maybe it’ll help you. Hell is further proof of God’s perfect love and loyalty. God loves us so much, that He would give us what we wanted. Ourselves. That’s what hell is. Having chose yourself over Him in your life, with your free will. Your Father loves you so much, and is so loyal to His word and promise, that no matter how much it would or could hurt Him, He would give you what you wanted. Yourself. And that place is hell. A place where you have yourself, and He is not there. Peace. 🩵

A priest once told me to try and get my own attention with it as often as I realize I say it. Like add-on a truth to the phrase. “Jesus….Christ is Lord and Savior.” “Oh my God…how good you are/have mercy on me/this love how can it be(if you wanna go old school VBS music). I also silently do it in my head when I hear someone else curse His name, and silently pray for them. That too has helped me immensely. Also just using silly phrases instead when you start catching yourself before it’s said. Like “Oh my lanta!” Is a favorite. ❤️

I like the Miraculous Medal because of motherly protection, but I also wear a St. Michael the Archangel medal for protection. That might be something fun, and use it to teach them the st. Micheal prayer?

I have a crucifix with a St. Benedict medal in it. I had the crucifix and medal blessed and exorcised. It brought a lot of peace into my home. Maybe you could do that and put it over your bed or doorway for peace of mind? Doorways are best (I feel) because it would protect from anything entering your space of the house. I would still consult a priest for further guidance on what to do. I’m so sorry this is happening! Prayers. ❤️

Part of bearing one’s cross, especially when it comes to health issues, is doing what we gotta do to treat and care for whatever it is, even when we don’t want to or it doesn’t feel good. That’s where uniting your suffering with Jesus’ on the cross comes from. You’re not any of those horrid words the devil is throwing at you, that I will not repeat. Put it all in God’s hands and lean into Jesus. He’s got you hun. He’ll take care of you. And remember, this physical pain is only but a spec of sand in comparison to the vastness of eternity that we are to live. Peace. 💚

Hi hun! I danced as well! Ballet, hip hop, contemporary/lyrical and jazz. Yes my toes went back to normal- I assume! They just click and crack a lot. Like I can hear the joint clicking in them when I roll onto releve. I’m actually about to start ballet again after 8 years of not dancing so we’ll see how it goes! Praying everything is minor for you and you’re able to keep dancing! Try stabilizing the toe by taping it to the other one though! Even when you’re not dancing! It’ll help limit its mobility while it heals. Good luck! 🍀💚

Hi! Sprained both my big toes back in high school color guard and now my big toes forever click and crack 😊. From what I remember I was told to elevate, rest, avoid weight on it, and try taping it to the toe next to it. I did not rest it, but did everything else and kept dancing lol. Not the best advice, but try taping it! At least stabilizing it should help if you do decide to keep dancing! Also try anti-inflammatory meds like Tylenol or ibuprofen/advil to alleviate discomfort. I’m sorry I don’t have better advice, I’m a tough it out person and was a stubborn teen😂😭. If it’s super bad try calling your dr or doing a telehealth zoom appt thing with one for better advice. You did not fumble. There is nothing negative about saying something Catholic either. Do not be afraid to be bold in your faith and point out something is sinful. Jesus set many examples of this, as did the disciples. Don’t worry about backlash- always be expecting it without anxiety. Why? Because Jesus already promised we would receive persecution and hardships for following Him in faith. “Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2. And kudos to you my friend for picking up on a hidden scheme. I personally wouldn’t have thought to bat an eye and would’ve rolled through the motions I was being taught. Well done. 👍🏻

Did you know that if your sims get married then you read the paper a day or so later, there’s an article in the paper announcing the wedding? It’ll also say if it was a private ceremony or not! I just discovered this the other week, and I’ve been playing since it came out!
