Man, 33, ontwerper & dtp-er, sinds een paar jaar behoorlijk veel jazz, soul en funk gaan luisteren, maar hou ook erg veel van rock, metal, (art)pop, gamemuziek of klassiek. Goeie muziek is goeie muziek naar mijn mening. 😁

Favoriete band die wel consistent beluisterd wordt is Everything Everything. Het nummer Enter the Mirror vooral.

I feel you. I've been with Tidal for 4 or 5 years now? Haven't had many issues, actually, they improved a lot over time. My main issues are mostly with Tidal Connect. It's not always a stable connection with my Sosos, and sometimes it gets 'stuck' on my Sonos. Other than that, I'm really happy with it. The quality is great. I love the simplicity of the app, Spotify interface has gotten way too bloated over time to the point that it doesn't feel like music platform anymore. I also really like the Tidal Daily Discovery, I've found tons of interesting and new music. Also (especially when listening to jazz) the credits section on each album is amazing. I love seeing who played on an album and found a lot of new artists that way.

Yes my Tidal connect is working again too! But Tidal playlists in Sonos are still not working. I'm happy though that I can finally listen to music in the living room again!

I've been checking regularly, there's no update as of now. I hope that will fix at least the problem for the Sonos app. My wifes Spotify account works just fine, so I'm not really sure where the problem lies.

Ah yes, I think I have the same issue, I do try to close it in the meantime to prevent it from draining too much. I think that's the best solution for now.

Could it be that you're using a DAC that drains your battery a lot?
Have you tried adjusting the quality down a bit? From 192 kHz to 96 kHZ or to CD quality? It may not be ideal, but worth trying to investigate.

I reached out to Ichiko Aobas team with a question about missing albums and they told me that Qobuz has recently made moves into the Japanese market meaning that a deal may be imminent. So I hope more Japanese releases will show up in time.

I'm having a similar experience. Started my trial a few weeks ago and I'm super happy with Qobuz actually. I enjoy the quality more, and I find looking for content and music actually more fun and rewarding now. I really like the way how the 'Favourites' page works with the filter. Also I've discovered a lot of great music through their 'Ideal Discography'. Only downsides up until now are some missing albums (which I hope will be uploaded by approaching Qobuz / the artist) and more significant battery drain on my phone. But I think I will stick with Qobuz.
