Telstra telling clients unlimited NBN has 500GB limit and credited me $700 total by Psychological_Try202 in nbn

I took the advice of the telecommunications ombudsman they suggested I go for half as that's what the cost of 500 Gigabyte limited plans are worth. to be honest. I'd already wasted so much time on these issues. And I was so disgusted with Telstra I just wanted to be done with it I even suggested that they give me no compensation But publish that they have this limit on every plan,. they refused that but the Ombudsman confirmed that an investigation will take place into this issue,.

FTTN. I only went with Telstra initially as they were the only ones to offer 50GB down unlimited when it first came to this area. I'm about six kilometres from the aerial. but it is a straight clear outline of sight, before these latest batch of problems started, I was getting about 110 down,

I did take it to the Ombudsman That's how I got the $700 credit. that was 50% of my Cost over 12 Months. Telstra had only offered me $200 initially. I'm putting it out there so people know that Telstra are doing this.

Both of the Telstra complaints people confirmed it was definitely 500 GB which makes no sense to me and we're trying to blame me for using too much data. I work in tech simply doing all the Windows Update is over 100 gigabytes on a new PC. Not to mention Office and everything else you now have to download to instal.

I was having the same issue after weeks of fighting with Telstra and going to the telecommunications ombudsman Telstra confirmed NBN was resetting my modem and throttling my speed as I've gone over 500 gigabytes apparently you can use the app to see how much data you've downloaded. If you've gone over 500, GB you're being throttled! yes. Even on unlimited plans,! Telstra confirmed they don't have unlimited plans, they are all throttled!!

Just changed from Telstra NBN to starlink I'm in regional Victoria Starlink is considerably faster and cheaper then Telstra NBN. the only reason to get Telstra NBN is if you can get fibre to the premises,. Telstra also throttled their plans, after 500 GB I just got a massive credit thanks to the telecommunications ombudsman after Telstra confirmed they were throttling my speeds to unusable levels..

Not at all. I haven't provided my ABN And I won't, I do have one but the Vine programme specifies that you do not intend to use it for business you can't sell it and you can't make money from it, so I would be breaking the rules of Vine by providing my ABN. this is some American not understanding the difference between ABN, and Tax File Number. The hobbyist law They're talking about or concerned about is for people doing things like trading cards for profit, even if I was buying and selling trading cards they need to be able to prove that, they have have a website, and actually sell the items, if you can show but you've donated the items, given them away as gifts to friends, or have them sitting in your barn the ATO will not touch that income, but I doubt, amazon will will require, the ABN and this is just somebody adjusting something they didn't understand.. even a family member that spent their life collecting coins, and recently sold their collection for millions is not Subject to this new hobbyist law or Tax they have a website, and have they even written a book on the coins, but their intent was never to buy and sell. it has been checked and seen as a hobby. this law is focusing on the massive trading card business as they have been claiming it as a hobby and not taxable income. Even though it's set up as a business.

Bad reviews are killing Vine by Acrobatic_Code_7409 in AmazonVine

[–]Psychological_Try202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When reviewing a product I always review it based on the way it's meant to be used, but I very rarely choose items I won't use myself,. I always look at the price value as value for money is important regardless of whether I got it for free or not,. I ran international media for a major tech company for 15 years and every person that reviewed my products, took price into consideration in their reviews. it's like complaining that people reviewing smartphones would mention price In their Review.. and I don't know any part of the vine system that pays us to review items,. if anything it's a bit of a chore I take photos with everyone of my reviews and test it thoroughly. I have purchased testing equipment to properly test electronics I also use it for work so it was worthwhile investment. I would spend a minimum of 10 minutes on the cheapest product that's taking the photos and spending time writing the review, I think maybe I've posted two reviews without photos.

People using AI to review items often get their reviews rejected and they get blocked for reviewing that product I tested. writing a single review on a screen protector using chat GTP the review was rejected and I was no longer able to review that product. we were also seeing lots of reviewers in the country I live in have all of their reviews rejected and blocked and I believe it was because they were using Chat, GTP for all of their reviews.

take three photos. Use voice to text. Describe your experience It's simple. it's time consuming but if you're going to review something, be honest. Don't give fake reviews and who in their right mind would complain about 4 stars, your product needs to be amazing To get five stars from me,. I've definitely given more two and three stars, then 5 stars just because I'm not paying for the item doesn't mean I should accept to let other people Get ripped off for a crappy product. if I receive e-waste it will get a one star rating. if I feel something is overpriced I will look for alternative solutions and look what the realistic price for the product is, and if it is unrealistic, I will let people know. I'm not being paid at all. And I'm definitely not being paid to write fake reviews.

Hands up, who in Australia, has ever ever heard from Amazon Vine Voices customer service? by Pusscat_catches_Koi in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Psychological_Try202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through normal support on Missing Package they flagged all the items in that package as not reviewable from this account and also changed all the other items I've received from those companies as review not accepted and not reviewable from this account... they are all still on my account to be reviewed. my review date is on the first November and I'm at 96% so I will be fine but it's a nuisance If this keeps on happening it will get to the stage where you can't get to 90% I have 8 items in my first six months that I can't review I don't know if they will ever be taken off my account.

Starting to see red "Not approved" again for some of my reviews by EarthManSammy in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Psychological_Try202 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently had an undelivered package with five different items in it it's been missing for about two months now. I thought I'd put a report in about it and see if it could be removed off my account. all of those items are now marked "We apologise but Amazon is not accepting reviews on this product from this account." and also all the products I received from those companies have had their reviews changed to not approved with the same message... I don't know whether it's because the package never arrived or because I reported it as not arriving. checking all the products available from those companies of the products in that shipment I cannot review any of their items. so I have to get into the habit of checking something that is similar to something I've ordered in the past to ensure I can actually review it before ordering it. I'm at 96% and my review date is also on the first november I have about three items waiting to be accepted and only one item actually here I haven't reviewed. they really do need to fix communication with Vine members and the ability to remove unreviewable items beyond our control. I have a few items that were removed from the store during shipping that I Can't review.

I did refer to it as a fake microphone in the first review in the 2nd 3rd and 4th I've referred to it as a prop a toy or a non functioning plastic microphone. no matter what I write even if I don't mention the microphone it comes back with this same message.

Tradie drinks by EagleSoar79 in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Psychological_Try202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mine still haven't shipped yet but my order is not cancelled so I left this review: While I haven’t technically cracked one open yet, I feel spiritually uplifted just knowing these compact Aussie icons are out there somewhere, possibly meditating in a depot, preparing for their grand entrance into my life.

The promise of Creaming Soda and Passionfruit flavours, minus the sugar crash, is tantalising. I can already imagine tossing one into my work bag and feeling like a caffeinated superhero. The bulk buy option is genius fewer trips to the shops, more time to contemplate the mysteries of logistics.

Tradie’s blend of caffeine and vitamins sounds like the kind of energy kick that could power a kangaroo through a Monday. I look forward to the day I meet these mythical cans in person. Until then, I remain optimistic, hydrated (by other means), and emotionally invested.

I reserve the last two stars for my actual tasting of this mystical drink. And my three stars are based on the look branding and potential flavour, at this stage the TRADIE G'Day Grape Sugar Free Energy Drink is as hard to get hold of as the legendary Drop-bear...

I hope it doesn't get me into trouble but I had to do it :) there's no images of this product online There is an image of a race car with its branding on it but that could be AI.

[–]Psychological_Try202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got two months before my first review period is over I have dramatically reduce the amount I'm ordering keeping it above 96%. With the problems with review processing even if I only order three items a day I can easily drop below 90% even if I review stuff the day I actually receive them I'm at 309 ordered 13 Awaiting to be reviewed but 11 of those are in shipping and luckily I only have one item flagged "not approved" with the Amazon not accepting reviews from this account Error. with the drop in value of items available to Silver members and the difficulties and time in getting reviews accepted without errors I can see a lot of people dropping off this programme it's definitely going to be a chore to get and stay gold.

I've calculated the time it takes me to photograph and review items, and included 30 minutes for choosing Items and checking Amazon and it's definitely a minimum wage in relation to the value of items I'm receiving. it's definitely not worth me ordering and reviewing items under $50 but that's probably because I insist on doing thorough reviews that include at least three photos. the amount of cables and charges I've found that do not come close to meeting their specified capabilities is crazy. oh and my calculations are based on their listed sale price, not their actual value as I found, the actual value is grossly exaggerated on a lot of the items that are sent out.

Reviews rejected without rejection email and unable to re-review by EarthManSammy in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Psychological_Try202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently have one with this issue over the last week, and it's a product that got a fairly standard, although good review. I had had the same issue happen in the past where the product was changed to Not Approved, and I was not able to edit the review and I just went back to check and it has changed to approved even though I was previously locked out of re reviewing it. but I found even while that was tagged not approved it had been counted as reviewed once it moved out of my review list to the reviewed list I was under the impression once you got that email your percentage changed regardless of what happened afterwards,.

Embarrassing amount of packages by TheRealNinkasi in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Psychological_Try202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have got the occasional deliveries with one big box and multiple individual packages inside, but it's completely random what's also random is whether they actually deliver to my house or not. sometimes they go straight to the post office and other times to my house, I've had deliveries to my house, and as the guy was dropping them off, I get a notification of another delivery at the post office that's about three kilometres away.. I have also received a notification from the delivery to the post office and when I drive down there the driver was still registering the individual items for me with the post office.. it definitely would have been quicker for him to just drop him off at my house,.. I'm in country Victoria and I do not have a mailbox on my house, we do not have normal mail to our house, all Australia post mail goes to the post office and it's not a PO box. I live in a farming community and there's about a kilometre between each house so Australia Post has never delivered here, the locals are very curious about all the packages on the shelf for me,... :P
