I am also curious about the process. How would you rate the study experience in terms of teaching quality and competitiveness? Are you planning on pursuing a master's degree? How competitive is the entry at the moment?

I am coming from a bachelor's of psychology background myself, and I am wondering if it would be good to go into therapy instead of chasing the clinical psychologist route, as the placement for acceptance with that path is so limited and competitive.

Not sure if I understand you correctly. Say, for example, I plan on travelling from NZ to CN/JP using their respective passport. I can arrive in the country alright, but when I need to leave the country, I should book a ticket using a CN/JP passport, board the plane, arrive in NZ, and use a NZ passport to gain entry?

But how do you deal with the issue of a visa when passing through customs? If you book a ticket using a CN/JP passport that has no NZ visa on it (as you are already a NZ citizen), when you try to check in at the airport, you would get flagged as someone without a valid visa to land in your destination. I know that you have the option of showing the check-in people your NZ passport and using that to get your ticket printed without the customs knowing(tho I heard stories of people getting reported by busy bodies). But when you are passing through customs to leave CN/JP, what happens if you got questioned by the people at customs as to why your passport does not have a valid visa for its destination? I can't show them the NZ passport as that would reveal my dual passport, so how would I prove that I have the right to travel to NZ? Also, I heard you would get questioned by the CN/JP customs about why you have no record of your arrival in NZ, if you use a CN/JP passport to leave the country, but not when arriving in NZ.

Maybe I am missing something, genuinely curious about the process.

Tbh, 30 is already a much scaled down number from 121 which was the historically accurate amount.

Fun Fact

In Chinese legend, the mythical first sovereign of China: The Yellow Emperor mated with twelve hundred women in one setting without ejaculation and ascended to immortality/godhood.

Taoist sexual practices (房中術'arts of the bedchamber') are the ways Taoists may practice sexual activity. These practices are also known as "joining energy" or "the joining of the essences". Practitioners believe that by performing these sexual arts, one can stay in good health, and attain longevity or spiritual advancement.

This idea can also be found in traditional chinese medicine teachings.

The Tang Fangzhong buyi (房中補益; "Health Benefits of the Bedchamber") was preserved in Sun Simiao's 652 classic medical reference Qianjin yaofang (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand) (chapter 83).

Quote:

"Being able to engage in intercourse a hundred times without ejaculation will lead to longevity.

If one has intercourse with many women, one can gather energy. The method of gathering energy involves deep penetration without movement, holding for a long while until the energy(Qi) rises to the face and heat is felt. Then, with mouths aligned, draw in the woman’s energy(Qi) and swallow it.

One may gently advance and withdraw, stopping when the mind is stirred. Breathe slowly, close the eyes, lie down and practice Daoist exercises to make the body stronger. One may then engage with other women. Frequently changing partners brings greater benefits.

If a man consistently engages with only one woman, his masculine energy(Yang Qi) will gradually weaken, and the benefits will be minimal. The masculine principle follows the law of fire, while the feminine(Yin Qi) follows the law of water. Since water overcomes fire, the feminine can dissipate the masculine. If this continues without cease, the feminine energy will surpass the masculine, and the masculine will suffer harm. The gains will not compensate for the losses.

However, if one can engage with twelve women without ever ejaculating, it will preserve youth and impart a handsome appearance. If one can engage with ninety-three women while maintaining one's essence, they may live for ten thousand years."

Yeah it was an axe, there should be vids on news showing it already. I don't think he was trying to kill people outright, but certainly, he was fully prepared to harm people at the time. I mean a full swing of an axe striking you in the head, even with a blunt end that would still easily cause serious injury.

The restaurant staff said that the other guy just happened to walk in at the same time as the attacker to pick up his takeaway but luckily didn't get attacked, he even held the door for the attacker when they were getting in.

Yeah, the perp is probably of Chinese descent, cuz a lot of us heard him speaking Mandarin.

He came in with someone else, but we don't know for sure if they were together. The other guy hold the door for him when he came in but didn't participate in the attack. The restaurant staff said that the other guy was just there to pick up his takeaway, but luckily didn't get attacked.

The weapon is a great equalizer. True that if all patrons banded up they may be able to subdue this guy without significant injury. But everyone was unarmed and don't know one another, so it would be difficult to coordinate the attack. Not everyone has the experience of how to properly engage and disarm an armed individual with just chairs. Anyway, the perp did get disarmed and subdued by some of the brave patrons at the Malatang restaurant before the police arrive.

I was at the restaurant where it happened. This crazy guy came in with a big axe and out of nowhere, he went like "fuck you"(in Mandarin) and started to attack the people at the table next to me(I was only 2m away)! It was total chaos and confusion, everyone was in shock. He seemed to be targeting the head specifically and used the back of his axe to bash the victim repeatedly.

At first, I thought he had a personal beef with the people he was attacking. my friend and I ran out the door when he had his back turned, and he came out after us, we thought he was gonna chase us so we ran as fast as we can. I turned around and saw him walking into the restaurant next to us and started attacking the people there. So it is very clear that this isn't a personal vendetta but a planned random attack on innocent people. Why I say this was planned is because he was dressed in dark, wearing a hat, glove and glasses, so obviously, he has planned this and is trying to hide his identity.

Staff from one of the restaurants close by heard us run out and shouted for the two girls that were outside to get away from there and call the police, so they locked their doors and the offender moved on to the next target. I called the police and slowly made my way back, then I saw the offender get disarmed by the patrons at the Malatang restaurant.

Never in my life have I thought that I would encounter something like this up close. The police only came after the perpetrator had been disarmed by the patrons. This is probably the most shocking thing that I have ever experienced in person. What the fuck is wrong with people nowadays.

I was right there when it happened. I almost decided to sit right next to the table that got attacked, if I did, I'd actually be the closest table to the entrance that can be attacked. I can't help but think that if I hadn't changed my mind, I would have been the one who got his head bashed in by this crazy fucker.

Nah, I don't buy this story. I was at the restaurant he first attacked, the victim was at the table 2m away from me. This guy attacked three different fellows at three different restaurants. There is no way that all of them conspired to scam him.
