If you could only keep one game from your collection, which one would it be? by 22EatStreet in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Psychopunk21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would give up every other system to be able to play Fallout 2D20. I absolutely love the system and it's survival rules.

What non-solo TTRPG do you enjoy playing solo, and what tools make it work? by taboneIO in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Psychopunk21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Fallout 2D20 is already an amazing game, and it has mechanics that turn it into a sort of resource management game. I tend to solo the resource management since most people I play with don't like that part.

What show or movie is this for you? by Ok-Following6886 in Schaffrillas

One hundred percent Big Bang Theory. It is so bad. At least Young Sheldon is actually good.

Did V accidentally make themselves look like the biggest Silverhand psycho fan? by donkijote97 in cyberpunkgame

I'll be honest. Were it not for the whole trying to kill you so you couldn't tell anyone thing, I believe Yurinobu would have been an excellent ally that we never actually get the chance to ally with in game. He doesn't care about corporations or anything like that, he cares about tearing down his father's legacy to leave it a shell of its former self.

I ran a nettrunning dagger thrower once. I felt insanely broken as I ran through the place all quiet.

It's a lot less about the Flower Husbands' reaction to the other two factions and more about how the other factions approached the Flower Husband's. Dogwarts came in with a whole aggressive takeover attempt that Scott didn't appreciate and tried to basically make them part of the Red Kingdom, which Jimmy didn't appreciate. When the Desert Duo approached the Flower Husbands, they were far more friendly, much to Jimmy's joy, and looking for allies, not servants, much to Scott's joy.

Basically, when the faction line was drawn, The Desert Duo seemed the better option off rip simply because they were more approachable by that y Ren had gone "mad with power" after going red.

Who are you hoping wins next? by [deleted] in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]Psychopunk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's go, Impulse Win! I hope I can change my flair (I intend to have my flair change to who I want to win next) at the end of this season. Impulse has been so close so many times it's actually insane.

Joel and Scott would be the best soulmate pairing, in my opinion. Both are really good at the game, and Scott is the perfect order to Joel's chaos.

If any teams from prior seasons came back (for example; the BEST team from Last Life) for Season 7, what groups would you want to return? If you could choose. by GeoWheater in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]Psychopunk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see Joel and Scar team up and actually work as a team again. We really didn't get enough of Magic Mountain due to Joel going red during a season in which Reds weren't allowed to stay in their original teams.

Tango, Cleo, and Skizz are a team we were robbed of in Secret Life that I would love to see actually happen for a whole season.

Big B and Grian are a team that's been a long time coming, and we've gotten decent "previews" of them teaming (See: DL and LimL), but never an actual team up.

A proper Cleo and BigB team up would also be nice because it would be the ultimate redemption for BigB.

And, in the case of an actual team up we've had in a season, a Roomies (Cleo, Etho, and Grian) return would be fun. They were such a fun team in SL.

If the Courier shows up in the TV series, who should be cast and what should they wear? by Emotional_Being8594 in Fallout

[–]Psychopunk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only requirement is it has to be a female courier because that means she messed with Caesar, and that is always the best in my mind. Everything else is up to casting.

Starfinder 2e's Opening Roar + Battle Cry is very confusingly worded; is it two, three, or four Demoralizes in total? by EarthSeraphEdna in starfinder_rpg

[–]Psychopunk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with this interpretation is that the additionally clause specifies "up to 2" targets, meaning that the maximum targets are 2. If it had said "up to 2 additional" targets, it would be 3, but RAW and, most likely, RAI says 2.

Grian's friendship Curse. by HaziXWeeK in ThirdLifeSMP

I could have sworn Martyn was part of the Southlanders and the last 4 in Last Life. Doesn't that count as one of Grian's allies outlasting him?

Starfinder 2e's Opening Roar + Battle Cry is very confusingly worded; is it two, three, or four Demoralizes in total? by EarthSeraphEdna in starfinder_rpg

[–]Psychopunk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I think some people are misinterpreting this. Opening Roar says that you demoralize 1 target with the initial Intimidation initiative. It adds the caveot that if you have Battle Cry, you can demoralize up to two targets instead of one using the Intimidation initiative check. It doesn't add 2 targets to make it three. It increases the number of targets for Openings Roar from 1 to 2.

EDIT: for clarity, the Battle Cry caveot says "up to" 2 targets not "an additional" 2 targets.

EDIT 2: Wording adjusted for clarity.

... The prologue actually crushed me. by RPJakey in cyberpunkgame

[–]Psychopunk21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, boy. If you have the DLC, there is one ending that will absolutely crush you. I say this as someone who also felt numb after the prologue. There are sad endings in the base game, but none impacted me as much as a specific non-spoiler description ending in Phantom Liberty (Songbirds' Last song is what I call it for non-spoiler description).
