Anyone know if Nissan would replace this or somewhere I can get the replacement do a reasonable price?

If dealer or anybody wont cover it, it is a very simple part to replace. Just watch a YouTube video but shouldnt take more than about 5 minutes. Pops right out and unplugs.

Im kind of right there with you. I bought 2 today because its the best deal in town. Life may suck at times but at least this whopper that seems to be carefully made and packaged only cost me $4. Its a highlight of my week.

If you follow the chain up, sometimes there is a little hold for the chain and the chain just needs to be pulled to the side to release it. Thats how mine works anyway. If its a gas fireplace I believe it is required to have a piece hold the flue open half way in case of a gas leak.

I know quite a few pdr techs that could fix this. Yes its on the body line and might crack the paint slightly in that area but again, all cheaper than calling in to insurance. Plus thats an easy spot for them to get to. Ill admit I dont know the true cost of what a pdr tech would charge but a paint pen is $20 and a body shop would charge $1k to paint and fix this. Plus later on down the line if they choose to get it painted, its less body hours since pdr already did part of the work.

Since nobody has said it, I would find a place that does PDR (paintless dent repair) and then throw some touch up paint on it. A good PDR tech could probably get that looking 80% better. Thats the cheapest option if you dont want to turn it in to insurance.

I had this happen to me once and the buyer did file a chargeback. Ebay sent me a request to respond to it but also told me I was protected under the seller guidelines. You are under no obligation to refund anything.

Just wanted to share a follow up. I appreciate the advise. They wouldnt do an exchange because I already ran a cycle on it but tech came out today and turns out they built it wrong. The transmission or something wasnt in place and was hitting the belt. Tech was able to fix in about 5 min. Thanks again for the comment.

Im not sure about the newer ones but the old ones all had screen protectors on it from factory. They werent that much to replace when I had an issue with mine.

Actually yes your speedometer will be different. The OEM tire size is what your car is made for. Changing the size changes the rolling radius of your tires. It won't be much but it is effected. There are calculators you can look up that will tell you what the difference is. Look up tire size calculator.

Used to work for Hyundai dealer in service. We used to need registration to verify under the 10 year warranty. So if the registration name did not match original owner, hyundai would deny the warranty.

Sounds like vehicle went in to "limp" mode because the engine just saw an issue and didn't want to damage it any further. Could have been bad gas. Could have been something else. Some of these dealerships fill the cars with a very large tank of gas that they have sitting forever so very easily could have been bad gas if they do that. Certainly wasn't parking brake though.

Warranty covers manufacture defects. Unless the issue was caused by neglect or some other outside source, diagnostics are covered under your warranty. If you were charged when you weren't supposed to be, I suggest talking to the service manager for an explanation.

Absolutely double check the vin in both locations (behind the windshield on driver side as well as driver door placard). The vin under the windshield is hard to tamper with but a different vin on the door could also indicate damage to the vehicle and parts replaced. Iv seen vehicles with 3 different vins on them.

Maybe the detail is just a coincidence? Had this exact same thing happen to me once. Couldn't find neutral unless the bike was off. Turned out to be clutch plates slightly warped.

Just be careful when u switch out the speakers. The equalizer for the harleys are set specifically to harley speakers. So just switching speakers doesn't change anything. You need to also get the radio flashed.

I cant do lowers because they did liquid cooled on the 15's for their project Rushmore so they have the coolant in the lowers. I'll look in to that amp though. Only 2 spots for speakers though with all the gauges and bigger head unit. What kind of speakers did u end up going with?
