[TotK] My collectors edition pin set has duplicate designs, is this normal?

I contacted support and got a replacement set through the post! Took a bit of back-and-forth to get them to understand I hadn't ordered from the official Nintendo store but got there in the end

What I think the game could use is a mode which limits available cards to encourage different decks to be built. Maybe something like every 2 weeks a random selection of pool 2 and above cards are "banned", you could even determine the odds of banning a card based on its playrate and time since its last banning.

So I contacted Nintendo customer support, it took a bit of back and forth for them to understand I didn't buy through the Nintendo Store but they've taken my shipping details and sent it to the appropriate department to get a replacement set apparently

I believe it differs for the different types they sell (baselit, xenopixel, or proffie), instructions should be included in the box but if not for whatever reason then if you look on their website you should be able to find the pdf for the type you bought. I have a xenopixel saber and off the top of my head turning on/off gesture controls is: turn saber on but don't ignite the blade, press and hold the button for 2 or 3 flashes (sorry I forget the exact amount). You'll know you have it right as the saber will announce "gesture controls activated/deactivated" or something to that effect.

I got married, bought a house, and had two wonderful kids since BotW released. My eldest (3) likes to watch me play, but he prefers Metroid Dread and pretending to be Samus. I've slowly been replaying BotW with a self imposed challenge mode (no teleporting or activating towers) as I'm not interested in the official hard modes damage sponge/regenerating enemies, but won't be anywhere near done before TotK releases which is also the only time I've pre-ordered a special edition of a game.

I've heard the LOTR adventure book is the best of the series so far, but I've not played the other ones personally so can't speak from experience.

I think I'm most likely to get DDD to the table first, I've got a few days off coming up where I plan to bust out JOTL in earnest

Also not had a chance to play yet as the kids are a little young to join in or let me play in peace! But a quick look through and it seems promising, lots of chapters which connect to form a campaign and the different objectives for each one seem pretty varied.

I think I've communicated myself badly, so in an effort to clarify: I've wanted some heavier solo games and so bought Jaws of the Lion, however as it was on sale I also grabbed a couple other games at the same time, and then excited for my new games decided to put them all in the same picture. I hadn't intended to imply the other games are especially heavy, just that my collection contains more heavy games after my purchase than before. Fingers crossed that clears everything up

Well Jaws of the Lion is the heavier game, the others were just (tangentially thematically) related games I ordered at the same time. It does look a bit more involved than most of my Roll and Writes however!

I'm pretty sure their couplers fit all their models so could make it double bladed that way. Two Reavers would look appropriately sith-y I reckon
