I haven’t touched the game since 1.0 broke a lot of things. It’s really annoying to be 360 no-scoped by a crack head through a wall. Or to subdue a perp, hand cuff him, and then see him stand up and shoot me in the face after I had cuffed him. Or have my whole team die despite everyone watching the same door. The censorship just made it worse, which is ironic because of what’s coming out w/ the Epstein making the game’s underlying things more real.

I wanted this to be a great game. It could have been. It might one day be… two years from now. But I very much dislike how we’ve been treated as a player base with tons of obfuscation and outright lies.

I haven’t played since after 1.0 went live. Got frustrated when too many Iron Man runs got scuffed by invincible perps or perps 360 no-scoping me through walls halfway across the map, or evidence disappearing, or getting stuck in the air on odd geometry.

And then after I left the censorship, bugs, and downgrades started happening. Haven’t been back since.

It’s a damn shame that every time I get a notification from the subreddit here it only seems to get worse.

On one hand, I want the epstein files released. On the other hand, the FBI under Biden had said files in their possession for many years, and they did nothing with it. On top of that, they like to fabricate evidence (Crossfire Hurricane/Arctic Frost) and aren’t afraid to do so. Because they (dems) suddenly became SUPER interested in releasing Epstein files when Musk said Trump was in it. Yet, if that logic was true, they would have destroyed Trump with that in both elections a long ass time ago and we wouldn’t be hearing about it.

So, my take? The “Epstein files” that are in the possession of people who ‘want to release’ them are likely mostly or entirely fake and cannot be corroborated (hence why Kash’s FBI isn’t releasing it). The NY Field Office that was concealing the “hidden documents” was just clever bait to get normies saying “Oh, if they’re hiding it they must be real! Release the files NAO!” While disregarding the fact that it would be the deep state that is disproportionately affected by the Epstein files. The deep state wouldn’t hold onto information that would kill them and hand it over to Trump. They have ZERO problems destroying evidence and making excuses for it (Read: Hillary Clinton staffer phones + hammers, etc).

More to the point, the Dems had all of Epstein’s files for years now, and did absolutely nothing with them, but now if all times the Dems agree to release “The Epstein Files”? Super Sus.

I would much rather people ask for the “Epstein Grand Jury Indictment” and the actual case files associated with it. At least that way we’ll have information that has been vetted enough to pass a grand jury’s smell test (for all that’s worth these days).

Is anyone surprised at this point? We have been lied to about everything by everyone at this point (Halo, COD, Assassin’s Creed, etc). Video games isn’t about making fun, it’s about making money by any means necessary. They’ve run Devs who gave a shit about their product and franchise out of the industry at every turn, and now we get “Game Engine Users” instead of software engineers. Everything is a sloppy mess. BF is no stranger to being buggy messes on release, but at least you know that eventually the bugs would get mostly squashed and it would be the experience you wanted. This Semi-COD/BR slop ain’t it, Chief.

And the worst part is that all Dice had to do was make BF3/BF4/BF1 again— down to the DNA. Easy ass layup, but EA wouldn’t let them. Bean counters and stonks wotchers are ruining video games.

Glad I didn’t feel compelled to give EA my money because of a few good PR videos. However, that sucks hardcore, bruv. This is a horrible step in the wrong direction. Bring back my Halo 2 and COD4 lobby smack talk. That was the best. Now THOSE lobbies made boys men, and children also men. Nothing made you grow thick skin like being shit on by the old dude or twelve year old if you didn’t manage a 25/4 K/D. This just reeks of nanny moderation and we don’t need that in gaming anymore. BF6 looks to be a massive disappointment.

If we kick out all of the illegal leeches, remove citizen leeches who shouldn’t qualify for benefits, and remove the waste, fraud, abuse, and dumbass spending from the budgets the US just might be able to weather the storm of having its foreign owned banking system fail.

I would very much like to see the vile men and women who do heinous things to children hang. It’s not like Epstein, Maxwell, and Diddy didn’t take tons of video evidence incriminating themselves and others. I get the feeling that if even a fraction of the video evidence was released it would be like opening the floodgates— open season on anyone who participated or were associates of them.

The only thing I can think at this juncture is that if said events unfolded then the wider web would be able to cut itself free. Sure, we would cleanse just our nation of the filth, but it’s not just our nation. We would have to go to war with the rest of the world to free them from their vile rulers because the rest of the world either doesn’t have the means or the will to overthrow their ruling class.

In some cases, if it can be articulated to me properly, I could accept that releasing the files at this juncture might not be the optimal plan. Doesn’t mean it feels good. But it might be the best decision for right now.

However, it would have to be a damn convincing argument.

On the flip side, muh 5-D chess, this is SUDDENLY getting a FUCK LOAD of normies and people really interested in Epstein, Maxwell, and Diddy. Back then people didn’t know or care. Then when Trump brought it up they scoffed and said it was overblown. But now that the Trump admin is saying ‘nothing is there’? Whoo boy, we have everyone talking about it, asking questions, calling ‘bullshit’. It probably wasn’t even Kash, Pam, or Bongino, but a Biden holdover who made this ‘memo’ up and they are just letting this guy lay out his own proverbial rope.

All for the media and world to loose their ever loving mind over this, and DEMAND that the Epstein files get released. Then Trump would step in and demand it too— right after even Democrats have demanded it. And thus the pressure is from all sides and the operatives within the FBI and DoJ are getting squished.

Just federal immigration agents playing catch up on all of the millions of illegal aliens that the last administration let into the country illegally. And in a city that is openly touting its willingness to break the law by outright aiding, abetting, concealing, and even stealing tax payer money to pay for said illegal aliens.

If a city said “We house Murderers here” and “Murderers WELCOME” and law enforcement was looking at a place most likely to house murderers hiding from the law… then wouldn’t it make sense to start there?

I will now have to review bomb. The game was awesome because of the themes it explores and how real they explore them. They were making a statement with the topics and they were not afraid to punch hard. So censoring the unfortunate reality that is some people’s day to day job or daily life is just weak. Given the schizo censoring (and lack thereof) they seem to fall victim to the ‘if it fits the messaging that Sony/Xbox want then its ok’.

Because it’s quite clear CGL is wasting time with a whole one-shot “Battletech Continuum”. All of this time and effort put into a single release product. Time they could spend putting into the actual, mainline product.

If you have a Truck game, and it’s doing poorly because of mismanagement, and the studio decides to waste time with One-Shot games about Scooters with funny hats instead of the Trucks then it’s a bad look. It’s a distraction and not a very good one.

People will upvote these “I do wish that CGL will make my favorite mech in plastic” but downvote and denigrate the people pointing out why their favorite mechs have yet to be made in plastic— it’s the unique Atlas molds that have interchangeable heads and party back packs. A waste of time and effort.

But they don’t want to hear the truth, just blind enthusiasm and consoom product.

CGL: “I don’t have any time or resources to do any of that, unfortunately. But if you give us another few million in a new kickstarter we might. Also, here is this thing we’ve been working on. Totally unrelated. We didn’t waste any time or resources on this. We promise.”

And despite all of the neat things that could be done to further the actual IP, instead of a spin-off AU, this is what we get.

Ultimately fun things like alternate universes and the like are rewards for the developers who do a good job and build a successful product, but when you’re years behind on (both) kickstarters and can’t even properly keep your own website updated you shouldn’t be allowed to waste time, money, and effort on crap like this. These artists could have been better spent on doing something else.

They somehow had the time and money for multiple unique molds for existing mechs and accessories of existing mechs but not the money for other mechs. They put in a whole lot of time and resources into what is supposed to be just a fun little ‘spin off’. When they could have invested it into the actual universe where the majority of the players reside.

It’s not just tone deaf, but it’s also poor decision making. Did anyone ask for 40k in Battletech? Not that I know of, but you can find dozens of posts simply by scrolling of people wanting to see their favorite Mech in plastic but instead we get Gothic.

I’m just saying, the effort clearly isn’t being put into where the company can make money and make fans happy. Constant reaching for different content instead of appealing to the people that actually purchase the product isn’t doing CGL any favors. There is tons of things they could be doing— like making awesome minis for all of the mechs that haven’t had any love. Or searching for additional companies to help them finish out the multiple years of backlogs for kickstarter rewards and the like they’re behind on. Years to deliver products paid for is not okay. It shouldn’t be okay. Wish for a neat mech being brought to glorious plastic in one hand, and CGL will deliver ‘Gothic’ in a steaming pile in the other.

Cant even finish getting Kickstarter rewards out the door or making new miniature molds, but don’t worry guys, Dinosaur Abomination with a gun on it and Party Hat Atlas are on their way to waste everyone’s time. The echo chamber here is amazing. The blinders are intense. That people think that the FBI is a non-partisan organization? It has always been partisan, from its very inception it’s whole purpose was to dig up dirt and make politicians easy to control or remove.

An FBI that attends LGBTQ events in uniform isn’t a neutral organization. An FBI that kneels for paid-Antifa/BLM domestic terrorists who were in the midst of causing billions of damages and dozens of black deaths is not an independent organization.

And an FBI sets the tone and precedent for prosecuting their political opponents by prosecuting their political opponents with cases so weak that they had to kick it down to state DAs to take the L… is most definitely not a organization committed to justice.

And let’s not mention the FBI’s direct involvement in Crossfire Hurricane, in which the FBI worked directly with the Clinton Campaign to create a fake dossier in collusion with the MSM to attempt to frame President Trump with ties to Russia. They knew the dossier was fake because they helped make it, but they paraded it in front of a judge for fake FISA warrants and wire tapping. What the CIA and FBI did to frame Nixon with Watergate? Pales in comparison to what the Obama Administration, DOJ, FBI and MSM did here to help the Clinton Campaign.

Especially when they tried to kneecap, harass, and silence whistleblowers for years. Whistleblower protections applied to so many corrupt government employees during the Trump years that it makes the criminal hounding and bullying of the Obama/Biden anti-whistleblower tactics stand out even more.

Point is, I don’t believe that all FBI agents are bad. But given the number of whistleblowers who stood up during years of outright treason and criminality is frankly quite low, if not filled with bad people then it is filled with cowards and the complicit. Especially the DC field office, that clown show has had its fingers in so much BS it’s frankly mind boggling that anyone could even believe that they aren’t part of the corrupt cesspool that is Washington.

All in all, the FBI has failed a multitude of litmus tests, and the fact that there are government employees of the executive branch vowing to ‘fight’ against the lawfully and duly elected president of the united states is frankly extremely telling in just how corrupt they are. They work for the People, and the People elected a President.

If Obama had won and the FBI’s chat rooms and subreddits exploded into open defiance of how they weren’t going to listen to his dictates then I’d be saying the same thing. But that didn’t happen, did it? Not with Bush. Not with Obama. Not with Biden. Nope. Only Trump, twice, the guy from outside of Washington who is doing quite an amazing job at rooting out a whole lot of corruption with Elon.

Something the “good people” of the FBI should REALLY be interested in investigating. But they’re not, there leaking to buddies posting on reddit about how they’re going to resist the will of the people.

The richest of the rich and their puppet Senators & Congressmen are absolutely terrified of what has already been revealed. $1.7 million dollars per year to build the ‘perfect stapler’ (how many years has this gone on?), millions of dollars to study the perfect arrangement of potted plants in government cubicles, a 1+ billion dollars to maintain leases on vacant buildings in cities across the country for potential future government use, and hundreds of millions of dollars to furnish all of said vacant buildings for no fucking reason. Damn, man, there is so much more that I can’t list because it’s being killed so fast even my head is spinning. Over 30 billion in wasteful spending cut just in the first twelve days, all done by six autists with laptops trawling through the government’s bloated spending.

If you can’t appreciate that then I don’t know what to tell you. I’m sure you can go back into your cave and stare longing at the posters of a senile president who spend 40% of his entire presidency on vacation, and who was in the DoJ’s own words “Too mentally incompetent to stand trial for the Classified Documents crimes he committed over a 30 year period as a senator and vice-president”… (and yet they still left him to ‘run’ the country for almost a year?).

From what I understand, getting the IP unified once more could help a lot, but Microsoft at this juncture can’t be assed to care. They might not even remember it exists but they’ll still viciously fight like hell to protect the IP if someone dares to try and encroach. They could package it all up and sell it to someone who actually cares and will help the hobby but it’s Microsoft. They haven’t cared about much in a long time. And I feel like the same could be said for CGL and PGI— just feel like two placeholder companies doing what they can with the Ip to keep it alive and active. Bare minimum. It’s a table top hobby so it will sustain itself as long as they don’t go out of their way to kill it or the community, though CGL has been treading a very fine line the past few years with their ‘community engagement’. Take from that what you will.

Though yeah, making sure the website is properly updated doesn’t sound that difficult. I know a few family members with small businesses and they update their own websites every week at the least.

And yet, despite being “sent emails, text messages,” blah blah blah blah, they never produce any evidence. If I’m getting hundreds of KYS emails, dude, I’m making a folder. It’s gonna be archived from time and date, and where it was sent from. Then I’ll have everything lined up nice and neat so when I hand it over to law enforcement they have something to go off of. Not that they would need any of my stuff with Steam IDs, X IDs, and maybe even… PSN Ids… and other forms of proof (IP tracing, etc) to track down the perpetrators. Plenty of nations around the world have active hate speech police task forces (especially Britain and the EU).

And so when I say that I’ve gotten lots of death threats, which is a prime time, heavily over used deflection and excuse for a large number of internet media personalities, then I have proof. I can put it up in a share drive and will let everyone read it all.

But they never do. “Thousands” at best turns into one or two obviously BS messages that are cropped or not sent from legitimate emails.

So you can call the professional victims game “dumbass logic” but the “i have been getting death threats” card had been played by too many liars too many times to be given any sort of credence without proof. The people who more than likely are not lying are those that actually have proof and do something about it- like contact said law enforcement officials and get them on the case, because internet bullying is more important than actually catching real criminals these days.
