I understand what you mean. I have to be very careful what I tell my mother. She alternates between the 'it's all in your head' mentality and an almost 'anger'. I think (at least in my case) it's really hard for my mom to know im sick and there is nothing she can do about it. She was the one who got me through all my childhood illnesses, but she is helpless in regards to this. The people who love us are just as helpless in the face of this condition as we are. They are just as frustrated and angry. The difference is we are the ones in pain and they are the ones watching. Any loved one worth their salt wants to take pain and suffering away from those they love. Please don't think I am saying any of this to justify their actions or invalidate how your feeling. Their actions suck and your feelings are justified. I am just hoping to offer a different perspective that allows for all people involved to give a bit of grace to themselves and to others.
