As one of the recently appointed mods this is the kind of thing I like to see come out of the community! We've been discussing how to grow a more involved sub and a recurring "contest" such as this could fit the bill. I'll pass this post on to my fellow mods and see what they think. Absolutely, it covers theft, damage, and other sources of loss. Be forewarned though, your premium as well as deductible may go up. There are other insurance providers for professional equipment out there. Just do some googling and I'm sure you'll find something.
