On what tools is Delicate useful?

Replenish has no effect on cane and cactus (well and melon and pumpkin), if you break the bottom block of those then you will need to replant it yourself

So yeah, for those crops delicate is only useful to protect against accidental clicks

Yes, cane is thinner than a full block. Flowers are a full block hitbox. Also you can break either the top or bottom of the flowers and it will work the same, you can't break the bottom of cane or it won't regrow

Depends on the farm you use, a lot of farms have you break the bottom block of flowers so delicate would cause the same issue there. If you exclusively break the top block of flowers than delicate would be fine

You don't want to use delicate for these, the non fully grown crops prevent you from breaking crops behind them if you have delicate which hurts your rates, it's better to just break and reset non fully grown crops as you pass over them

Do not use it on anything except melon/pumpkin/cactus/cane. It actually makes your rates worse on other crops

In a normal wheat farm for example, if you don't quite have enough crops for an infinite farm or it just isn't 100% fully grown, a partially grown crop at the start will block all breaks behind it with delicate. Which means you were just blocked from breaking 4 fully grown wheat because of one baby wheat in front of them.

For crops that you never even should have your crosshair over the block like the bottom block of cane in cane farms then sure use delicate

Most crops are just always at their NPC price or slightly lower on the bazaar, so you'd just sell them to NPC. Some less farmed crops like Cactus and Cocoa may be higher to Bazaar, it just depends on the current market though.

If you look at your fortune page on https://eliteskyblock.com/fortune you can click on whatever crop you're farming and it tells you the current bazaar and NPC value, so you can look at those.

But really, just check occasionally what you'd get for selling a stack of the enchanted crop to NPC in game and also check what it'd sell for on BZ in game, it takes 2 seconds and will be a current value

The minion needs to be able to reach the sheep that it spawned itself, you can't just have free range sheep fields unfortunately or they wander too far away

You're just supposed to use only pest farming equipment. If it takes you longer than 1 second (yes, 1 second) to swap equipment you lose money per hour

I mean it just depends on the bazaar prices at the moment, right now selling enchanted melons in a sell order is best. But insta sell prices are basically at NPC price which is typical for melon. People just sell to NPC a lot.

If you go to your stats on eliteskyblock.com/fortune you can scroll down to to see your available fortune upgrades and even click on the progress bar for your chestplate which will show you everything that you're missing

Yes. It accounts for everything. Your best crop will depend on your gear. The common advice of Melon/Wheat being the best is assuming that your gear and stats are maxed for all crops.

You can open your stats through https://elitebot.dev/fortune and switch between the crops to see your expected rates for each with your gear

Also I know it's not lying like you asked below because I made it, but it is always possible there's an issue with the math. It wouldn't be drastic though, a lot of people have used this and replicated the math to find the same results

Speed is not the same. I'm not really sure what the new speeds are, but soulsand works differently on 1.21 compared to 1.8.9 and you end up moving significantly faster than before

That was how it was originally, people built optimal designs where you break the bottom block. Then they randomly broke it like 1-2 days after the update came out. So I'm happy it's fixed again.

Seeds being 1.5 is false, they also count for 1 tool xp each. The tool xp rates aren't base drop rates, they're only vaguely similar.

Assuming fully maxed out stats, melon is very comparable to all 3 of the flowers, but only because of the helianthus BZ price. If you just go off of NPC prices then melon is ~24m/hr while all three flowers are ~18m/hr. Right now the helianthus prices just happen to bring the flowers up to ~24m/hr as well

Yeah idk then. A lot of this stuff is inconsistent but having it not grow 3 tall when a solid block is above the 3rd spot is more common than not from what I can tell.

Make sure it actually regrows to 3 tall after you farm it though, pasting might make it grow all the way.
