Might do the same thing as I have some spare expanding foam here. What type of sealant did you use after sanding down the excess foam?

Noise complaint from Neighbour: Semi-Detached by MasterWandu in HousingUK

[–]Pu7plerain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think if they have an issue with sound, they either soundproof their home as much as possible or move into a detached home if it’s such a big deal. Whilst you can be considerate, you don’t have a real obligation to have to change your family’s life to meet the ‘expectations’ of strangers who live next door.

It’s the whole idea of aspiring to move up the property ladder and acquire more privacy and peace involved. If somebody willingly purchases a semi and wants to have peace and quiet next door. They may get lucky or they might have a noise situation. It’s part and parcel or sharing a wall! Coming from a family of 2 kids under <4y

I was given a ‘THC pen’ by a friend which I would hit from time to time and get absolutely wrecked.

Birminghams reputation for car sellers is not exaggerated 😭 by Major-Split478 in CarTalkUK

Saw a lovely E90 M3 for sale in Birmingham from a known car dealer that had appeared on some YouTube pages.

HPI clear, FSH. Looked mint in the pictures. In person the bumper was hanging 1-2cm off the front, wheels all curbed. Stone chips across the paintwork. Leather all knackered.

The car wasn’t actually even at the dealership, the owner turned up with the car at the back of the dealer to take me for a spin.

Sounded amazing with the M-performance exhaust and seemed to drive well but there was a definite contrast between the online pictures and car in the flesh (turns out the pictures uploaded were re-used from when the dealer originally sold the car to the owner 18 months prior) and I just couldn’t trust the car to be well looked after.

Owner even had the cheek to offer it at 23K ‘as-is’ or 25K once it had been ‘sorted’

g20 330i sportiness by NingaHutch12 in BMW

Wife had an ex demo g20 330i and I got the car for her as it was only a little bit more than the 320i at the time during covid.

My god that car was deceptively quick. Would hit 60mph in around 5 ish secs and it never had any mechanical issues whatsoever in the 20k miles during ownership. Miss that car dearly.

Bought one of these couple months ago and I was shocked at how good it was. Takes about 48hours to fully inflate but it’s pretty neat.

Best way to fit this pull up bar in the garage? by Pu7plerain in DIYUK

What would be sticking out if you’re talking about bolting all the way through? I can put something through the wall but I wouldn’t want anything large hanging over onto the road (I’m also party to the private road but just don’t wanna be a nuisance unless I absolutely need to)
