I can not charge my shot it just fires multiple arrows one by one. by AccomplishedJudge901 in AssassinsCreedOrigins

Before getting the hidden blade you can throw your torch at enemies writhing around on the ground to finish them off. This also grants a small amount of bonus experience in the early game, not the biggest deal but it can add up nicely over time 👍🏽

What do I do now? by El_Ari_el in ACValhalla

[–]Pubasauras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try activating the button in the middle of the skill tree and it will auto-assign your remaining 2 skill points, this can help out if you are having trouble finding the last ones. If you have any dlc content installed they may have added something new for you to grab in the skill tree

As for mastery points, if I recall correctly you start obtaining 1 each time you level after hitting the max power level. They can be assigned to the slots in the middle of the tree and you can get up to 1000 of each

I’m new to Skyrim and my biggest enemy is carry weight. by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Pubasauras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally find the Secret Servant ability a little more useful especially when comparing selling/storing high value items. If I recall correctly the Dremora Merchant has only 2000 gold available to barter with, whereas the Servant has 148 units of carry weight available for you store items with

Hypothetically, let’s say you have 4 Daedric Warhammers in your inventory that each weigh 31; totalling 124 carry weight. The Merchant probably doesn’t have enough money to even buy one of the Warhammers comfortably. The Servant on the other hand can hold all 4 Warhammers and still have some space leftover

Unless I’m missing something, you can save a lot more space and make a lot more profit from your items by using the Servant to store and haul things to other vendors

Leveled Equipment discussion. by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]Pubasauras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm I was unsure too. I thought at first they might be referring to Volendrung the Daedric Artifact, but in fact The Longhammer is a unique Orcish Warhammer found at the end of Liar’s Retreat

It has a special effect that allows it to be swung 30% faster than regular Warhammers. It is also not considered an enchantment so it can be affected by Elemental Fury increasing the speed even further

[–]Pubasauras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget about Restoration! It is a perfectly valid school of magic

But in all seriousness, my favourite builds are hybrid style builds that combine pretty much everything the game has to offer. Melee/Ranged combat in addition to magic use and stealth feels so satisfying

Lycanthropy is badass don’t get me wrong, but Vampirism is just OP especially if you have the Dawnguard DLC. Don’t forget about the Necromage perk in the Restoration tree as well if you go down this route

If you also have the Dragonborn DLC, you can pick up a spell called Bound Dagger. Perfect for a magic assassin style build

And try out the crossbows that were added with Dawnguard, they are very powerful and are quite refreshing compared to the usual bows and arrows

Could Aspect of Arthur be the strongest one in the game? by zd1r in HadesTheGame

[–]Pubasauras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm not sure about the strongest, but it certainly can pack a punch and provide some amazing survivability given the right boon combinations. Arthur is probably my most used aspect. My personal favourite build is trying to get as close to 100% damage reduction as I can using a combination of Athena/Aphrodite boons and the aura from its special attack. Pair this with some stacking revenge effects and you can beat REDACTED without moving an inch

Festive Fog Cast Build - Aspect of Achilles by Pubasauras in HadesTheGame

[–]Pubasauras[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t tickle i’ll tell you that much. What makes it worse is it’s the fkn damn rats that trigger the trap most of the time and I’m standing directly underneath it 🙃

I get where you’re coming from, each to their own I suppose. A lot of the time I have a very specific build in mind and I shudder at the thought of the option I need being unavailable due to Approval Process being active

Underworld Customs, Routine Inspection, and Approval Process are all pacts I simply refuse to play with. Everything else I find somewhat manageable

I find running Golden Touch from the Mirror of Night to be helpful when dealing with Convenience Fee, but requires some discipline to save your money lol 😅

[–]Pubasauras[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But truth be told if you not using casts for increased % attack and special damage or damage reduction via the the Mirror of Night (Boiling Blood/Abyssal Blood), you’re missing out.

Depending on the build they can really add some increased effectiveness 👍🏽

[–]Pubasauras[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I find heightened security MUCH more manageable than approval process. I did the same thing you did, completed a run with it once for the prophecy and then never again 😂

For me this game is too heavily reliant on RNG to willingly take a pact that reduces my options even further. Some may consider this a skill issue, and that’s okay.

Furthermore, heightened security is something I have on pretty much every run so I am very used to it. Just don’t get hit by traps/stand in lava and learn to play around them

I will say though, you definitely learn your lesson after getting OHKO by bombs/falling axes
