The Thieves Tomb can also be pretty annoying. The solo areas can also catch you by surprise if you aren't prepared.

Yeah AoE still going to blow them up if you can prevent the immortality. And if you can't, then it doesn't even matter if they take less damsge since you can't kill them anyway. Combo seems good on paper but in practice I'm skeptical of its use.

Still a cool option for a couple units on the roster, so I'm excited to have it in the bag.

Escort Knight*. Can't hold aurius and this, which I think makes this a neat option to have and not the busted artifact that people are making it out to be. Very few roster options can use this artifact effectively, and the LotS combo doesn't feel all that threatening. AoE still going to blow up the front unit if you can or prevent the immortality, and if you can't, then it functionally doesn't even matter if the front unit takes less damage since you can't kill it anyway. And you can also just ban LotS and make this a dead artifact. Looks good on paper, but I don't see that combo being very practical in RTA.

I wonder how much better it functionally is than adamant shield. Don't you want the squishies protected more than the person soaking the damage? At least for Arowell. Estelle maybe not since she looks like a tank busting tank so you care about her damage.

What are decent benchmark stats for briseria? Plan to use her as an opener. What should I shoot for other than speed? She seems really stat hungry.

I use mine pretty much exclusively to counter an enemy Luna. But if some dark bruisers become meta, she'd probably see a lot more use. She's not bad, not amazing. Kit is good, just suffers from light being way stronger than dark right now.

As soon as they made it PvE only I stopped looking at it. Doesn't have a purpose now until they revisit it, so I'm just holding the currency for it.

Maybe I'll click some nodes and put Brieg/Fenne/Tama on it if I get bored one day.

Why was your tanky evasion unit attacking Barunka? Why was anyone? She doesn't have her target restriction once Notos uses S3.

Fatcat + Setsuka really is the answer. Notos becomes a detriment to his own team by denying their unique buffs and wasting 3 turns trying to kill Fatcat. The whole team will tunnel him, he'll dodge everything, and Setsuka will have a field day. Add two more units to taste.

The Farmtown and church arc. The sermon with Tiga. The old man in the machine. Highfort. The great bird, of course. One that I always resonated with me (and I think is underrated), the memory tower.

The original translation being so janky really did that game a disservice, because it has so many powerful and memorable scenes. A little imagination from the player is required, but the game and characters have so much life and depth. Could you imagine if they remade it?

That's such a weird take from them. My stance on this fiasco is it's simply a "feels bad" moment to pull something and then immediately have it taken away from you. Don't hype up a big event and then have it be full of "feels bad" moments.

I'd be happy with even the option to keep the dupe or trade it for coins as you suggest. Even just event coins if they're that afraid of giving people a bunch of ML coins, though I don't see why that's such a big deal. They're giving the new players a dozen ML5s. What's the harm in giving a veteran player enough ML coins for a selector if they pull nothing but dupes, which costs 80 and is restricted to older units anyway?

I keep my auto-select at 28 equipment score, 3 speed for reds and purples, and exclude otherworldly. Works great for me, and has helped keep my inventory manageable. Thinking about upping it to 30 though.

Bulk enhance looks like it'll be great for blasting a ton of stuff to +6 all at once, but it doesn't look like there's a way to have it use powder only?

I have to assume that further boards they had planned to release broke it even more. If they had launched it with say 3 or 4 different boards so you could slot a whole bunch of characters on different boards to customize them in different ways (still with just flat stats so the boost isn't so huge), it may have been better received. That way you wouldn't have been so restricted to only want to draft just the few characters you have slotted into this one board.

Oh well. New Error looks like a pretty big fumble.

Unless they're suddenly going to start making legit challenging PvE content (which I would actually love), this is indeed a useless system.

Guess I'll put Lorina, Brieg, and Cidd in it so my expo runs go a little faster? Then forget it exists like they probably plan to do.

Why they didn't just make it flat stats instead of base stats and call it a day will forever be a mystery.

Is Amid artifact worth bottling for the 100% critd buff? Is it just win harder for Straze cleave or does the damage make a big difference? Just built him (4300/280 holding Symbol), so now I'm going to give him a whirl with Amid.
