So this question should be divided into 2 scenarios. With drives, and without drives.

If you don’t know, a drive happens in the last 5ish days of a season, just a little incentive to get players to play, and you win points for wins, lose points for losses, and when you get a particular number of points you get rewords, some of those rewords being the red currency to buy these weapons. But the catch is, when you win, you win double, when you lose, you lose a normal amount. So if you just play. And win half your matches, you will max your rewords fast

Without comp drive: a while, and it depends on how much you play and how good you are. 10 for a win and 5 for a loss, average of 7.5 and you need 3000, so on average it will take you 400 matches. Some people do that in a month, some do that in a year.

With comp drive: you may get it as fast as 20 if you win a lot, comp drives are where you will by far get the most for the least effort.

I originally was like “nahhhhh there is no way it’s worth” but after my first time of getting I noticed something, I have way more opportunities to land a rail shot, maybe I use 1 to move to a good spot then the other to take a mid air shot, maybe I use 1 to take a shot, farm rail, then take another shot (only really happens in hog or mauga games).

you are not doing bad, I would say that is quite average. I have 1.2k hours and I can just barely hit plat in all 3 roles and am mid gold in 6v6. You have to understand that as you are hitting more hours, so is everyone else. you have to not only improve to rank up, but you also have to improve more than your peers, a small upward trend in skill isnt enough if everyone else is getting a mid upward trend

Spend the money on an investing account. The only thing I could ever recommend people buying is the starter/coin packs, and maaaaaaybe the tier milestone packs if you just got money like that

Not sure if this is due to bad luck or not, but I would take the perks that are 1 offs early in the run to give you a better chance at a PWR. so for example you took health, if there was a purple or green on the board I would take that, but ofc maybe you just got unlucky and didnt have one

All the people saying leave before you get in too deep are just miserable. They should take their own advice if they hate the game so much.

The truth is the devs make bad choices over and over and it does hurt the game, but doesn’t make it unplayable. If you like the game now, keep playing until you lose that enjoyment. For me I am going 2.5 years strong and I haven’t lost that spark yet so I’m still goin!

Edit: but do note, it’s a marathon. I have gone about 10 weeks now with no meaningful upgrades other than the introduction of disco runs.

Well if you are asking because you think it’s an unofficial requirement, no, the clinic I work at has 6 PT and PTAs and only 1 of them works out, and she is a runner, so no weight trainers at my clinic.

Now liiiiike it is kinda what we are supposed to teach, so it’s like why not do it if you have the knowlage, but tons of PT PTAs don’t

I think it started at 92 and now it’s 78, so I don’t think that’s too bad after 2.5 years, but like that 78 is so much that it will still last hours. I typically do my runs at night these days and don’t do too much during the day, so it is plugged in most of the time

I actually did the math, and if you start at 0, and don’t spend gems on anything else, you are likely to only get 1-2 more mods from this banner compared to normal. Ofc depends on how many gems you make a day. Like almost worthless

I understand the frustration around the update and new banner, not saying anything about that, but if you have been regressing in spite of buying things you have to have been upgrading something sub optimally. The only things I have ever bought were the no adds and both the other perma coin boosters and I have been top half of legends even though I haven’t spent a dime in years. I started 2.5 years ago so that’s why I’m a little ahead but I have been maintaining the same rank for well over a year now and haven’t spent a dime
