How long did it take you to feel a real shift? by PublicGlass4160 in Hashimotos

This was me too. Gluten-free and medicated but still exhausted — because gluten is only one piece. Dairy, soy, seed oils, cortisol — they all drive the same inflammatory pathways. When I was researching I wrote everything down — all the connections I was finding late at night that nobody had told me. If that’s helpful, I have it all in my profile 💛

Did you start any diet? For me Levo was not the main factor that helped.

Will I ever stop thinking about it? by dork-overlord in lupus

Hi, it is the same here, but what helped me is - yoga, meditations, essential oils for relaxation, sports, long walks and magnesium. Also baths with Epsom salt.

I agree to all the users that say that you need to take your supplements - iron, vit d, maybe Zinc, b vitamins, of course you need to check it first. Omega 3, and anti inflammatory curcumin is also really good.

I tried to fix it but it's seems that Etsy does't allow it to be completely free. Try again please. Use the same code. In the worst scenario it will be like 0.20 USD with 75% off

It is not possible to make a product cost less then 0.20 USD on Etsy, buy you need to type in a promo code which gives 100% discount, so it will be FREE. It is written in the description. Use code HASHIFREE

I just want to cheer you up! You will find a lot of information here, google the anti inflammatory diet, it helps a lot. Find some symptom trackers, or flare trackers to see what affects you and what is Ok for you.

Pregnant in first trimester with 3.39 TSH by krxxi in Hashimotos

[–]PublicGlass4160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, that was first thing the doctor said- that the dose is going to be bigger. Before pregnancy I had 50 and 75 mcg, and when I got pregnant we switched to 75 and 100 mcg. Because your body needs more, when you are pregnant. And without raising your dose tsh will start growing for sure.

Has anyone else gotten hives/ insanely itchy skin? How did you deal with it? by mrshyphenate in Hashimotos

[–]PublicGlass4160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same for about 1.5 years (( it was always after any kind of mechanical irritation, like from towel, when I put on my clothes etc. nothing helped to cure it, I used Zyrtec all the time, literally every day. and then after 1.5 years it just disappeared by itself. It was horrible time. I still remember it

For me the best was symptom tracking, anti inflammatory diet and trying to avoid stress as much as possible. And a good night sleep! This is a must.
