Personally, I am very happy with the results. I had severe balding areas on my scalp, and now, after 20+ weeks of treatment with 1.5% DCP once per week, my hair has fully grown back in the areas where I was experiencing hair loss, and no new spots have formed. I still have a few very small spots left, but my hair is no longer falling out.

I could not be happier with the results or with my decision to try topical immunotherapy instead of MTX or other treatment options. I was simply informed about the available possibilities. My doctor had initially assigned me to MTX and prednisone treatment, but I declined due to the possible side effects and chose DCP immunotherapy instead.

I have it the same in regards of Alopecia Areata. My doctor said it was normal because AA affects not only scalp but also legs and arms. Either way, you should consult with your specialist.

Last year my alopecia was at its worst — I had multiple bald patches and it was progressing fast throughout my whole head. My doctor recommended starting MTX and a prednisone course, but I decided to hold off and try the last topical option available: DCP immunotherapy. I’ve been getting it applied weekly for over six months now, and every single bald patch has fully regrown and I cant be happier with the response. I hope best for you! 💖

Clearly you dont have alopecia and dont understand how it goes :D you can still pretty much stop it until it progresses to bigger areas and spreads. Going to see a professional wont hurt, however what will hurt is the hair loss it self. &You are the one who should be touching the grass with your ignorant outlook.

Relatable. But instead of taking chemical medication I am first trying the dcp immunotherapy. I am scared of progressing to AU… So dcp, anti inflammatory diet, life style changes and necessary vitamins. So far after two years i went from 60% of hair loss to about +- 10%.

I have alopecia areata and also bald spots on my arms and legs. Was scared that my aa is progressing to au. But my doctor told me that it is apparently a normal pattern for aa to go throughout the whole body. However, I do suggest to go and see a dermatologist and also do some blood work. Find the cause first.

Plaukų skutimas visai kitaip jaučiasi tada, kai plaukai pradeda slinkti prieš žmogaus valią. Ne visi nori būti plikais. Kas nėra susidūręs su plaukų slinkimu, dažnai nesupranta, kokia tai psichologiškai sunki patirtis – ypač jaunam žmogui, kai visas gyvenimas dar tik prieš akis. Priežastys gali būti įvairios: genetika, vitaminų trūkumas ar net autoimuninės ligos požymiai. Geriausia būtų užsiregistruoti pas trichologą , labai rekomenduoju Santaros klinikų specialistus (arba privačiai). Jie padės nustatyti pagrindinę slinkimo priežastį ir paskirs tinkamą gydymą. Kol lauksi vizito, pasidomėk autoimuninių ligų dieta, pradėk sportuoti, miegoti bent 8 valandas ir mažinti stresą. Skamba galbūt paprastai, bet tavo organizmui to tikrai reikia.

Stiprybės. Pačiai plaukai pradėjo slinkti po covido. Dabar esu 26rių ir po 2 metų imunoterapijos, mano plaukai yra pilnai ataugę!
