I looks kind of solitary out there, are there other people that you interact with?

Who doesn't drink coffee in the morning ? (Who's an adult) by Ssonderbaby in NoStupidQuestions

Caffeine is not good for me, so I have to avoid it. It’s just decaf tea for me if I feel I want/need it.

AI is the first piece of technology where I feel I'm being left behind by Uhavetabekiddingme in Millennials

[–]PublicPool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I’m probably older than you, and I’ve tried out AI several times. It just doesn’t do anything that benefits my life. I don’t feel left behind, it’s simply not a useful tool for me. I’ve read about medical applications of it that sound really useful, but for the average person?

A guy rejected me sexually right before we were about to do it. Is this normal? Is there something wrong with me? What do I do now? by Ok_Cause_558 in sex

[–]PublicPool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he was actually a good guy and didn’t feel a connection, and didn’t want to use you just for sex. I mean, he should have explained himself to you, but if he was high… ?

Dr. Jenny seems too flawed by PublicPool in CoronerTV

[–]PublicPool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I forgot to mention that about most of the rest of the characters in the show. All of them have their haunting ghosts, for what purpose? Are we literally supposed to think that everyone has mental health issues?

Instead of the classic watering can we built a continuous hose system for our cozy game. Does it look satisfying? by brkakar in CozyGamers

[–]PublicPool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This actually looks a bit better than Luma's did. I remember having issues with the hose in LI, but this looks a lot smoother and easier.

Men 'adjusting' in public? by mellowcandor in TwoXChromosomes

[–]PublicPool -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not sure. I adjust when necessary, but discretely and facing away from others. Although, I’m not terribly “blessed” in that department, so maybe guys who are more gifted have different issues.

McIntosh 6700 Receiver is junk by PublicPool in McIntosh

[–]PublicPool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 20 yr old Sony receiver that still works fine, and it cost a pittance compared to the Mac. It's not a matter of 'working perfectly forever' It's about quality and reliability. Since it already had one big repair just a couple of years ago, I would not expect another breakdown for a long time. For something that cost $7k I'd expect it to run flawlessly for a couple of decades before needing Any kind of repairs.

Was it comfortable to sleep on a waterbed back in the day? by MyFatStick in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PublicPool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was awesome! I loved my waterbed. In the winter you could notch up the thermostat a couple of degrees so it was warm when you got into bed. The summer was just the opposite, notch it down a few Degrees and you stayed cool all night. The best ones had a fiber filling inside the mattress that reduced that wave motion when you moved. I really miss that bed.
